he's a criminal

the five of them arrived at the hospital .. heeseung guided them to the room where shaira's dad was admitted .

when they were near the room , jake hurriedly entered . the other boys comes after but ni-ki was hesitant to enter the room . he doesn't know why he's nervous ..

the door was still open .. he was about to enter when he saw shaira running into the arms of jake who gladly took her also . shaira cried while jake was hugging her so tight and caressing the back of her head  . he wasn't ready for the next heartbreak when jake kissed the forehead of her girlfriend . he was so jealous ..

he was about to throw hands to his friend and take shaira away from him when he remembers that jake was her best friend . and also they didn't know what they are right now because they chose to keep it a secret . so he calmed himself but he's still feeling broken .

he entered the room lowering his head in defeat. he just tried to understand Shaira's situation .

but when he entered , he froze on his tracks when he saw the unconscious man in his bed.

"ni-ki what's wrong ?" jay worriedly asked as ni-ki slowly collapse on the floor .. he hurriedly took ni-ki's arms to support him .. heeseung also helped

"U-uncle.." he couldn't speak properly

"what? he's your uncle?" sunghoon blurted as ni-ki's reaction turned to anger ..

"no ! he's a criminal !" he looked at shaira who's still in jake's arms with anger . everybody was shocked at ni-ki's behavior

shaira on the other hand couldn't move an inch because jake was holding her so tightly . she wants to go to Ni-ki to calm him down and also to ask what's wrong but jake was preventing her to do so ..

she could see the anger in his eyes . but why ? why would he call her dad a criminal ?

"riki" she said

"don't call me that name ! your father was a criminal ! " ni-ki shouted and ran outside of the room crying .

"wait riki!" she was about to run but jake stopped her

"why are you stopping me ?! i need to go to him " she tried to free herself from jake but she couldn't .. plus jake was not saying any word

"why couldn't you talk now jake ? i need to go .. " jake releases her hands

" why are you acting so weird? " she said as she run after ni-ki

the remaining boys was silent at what they had witness . they don't know if they should also run after ni-ki , or ask jake why is he like that .. or question the unconscious man in the bed on what actually happened .. they didn't know what to do

" alright ! we have to follow ni-ki .. " jay said as the others just nodded except for jake

" we need to make sure he's safe and wouldn't do anything to harm himself" heeseung added as they leave the room but jake didn't go with them

" jake ! why are you not moving ? c'mon" sunghoon said but he just lowered his head "yahh ! what are you waiting for ? we must follow ni-ki " sunghoon grabbed his wrist and fastened their movement to follow the rest of the guys .

jake on the other hand was still speechless as of the moment .. he kept on thinking about what shaira told him earlier

Jake's POV

i entered the room first so that i could comfort shaira first . i saw her sitting on the side of her dad's bed crying .

"shai .." i called her and she run to hug me .. oh how i love her hugs

" jake .. dad's still not waking up " she sobs while talking

" it's okay .. i know he'll be okay " i said to comfort her " but what happened ? did he know that you're still going to the orphanage then he got angry at you" she just shakes her head

"no .. actually he saw me with riki" riki .. as in ni-ki? why would she call ni-ki like that ? and why are they together ?

" hmm .. why did you and ni-ki do anything wrong ?" i confusedly asked her "no we just talked about us but unfortunately he saw me with him " she honestly answered but my ears hurt when she said 'us'

" are you two dating?" she flinched at what i said "umm actually .. we are " my heart shattered at what i heard .. i can't believe they are now together .. i was so slow

" what ?! and you had the audacity to not tell me " i joked at her but deep inside my heart aches

" it's not the time to laugh jake .. dad is still unconscious and i don't know what to do"

"so , heeseung hyung said he had a panic attack .. what's exactly the reason?" i asked and she shed more tears .. i caress her hair to calm her then kiss her forehead

I'm aware that the boys are now inside the room but i didn't look at them

" he knew that ni-ki's name was Nishimura Riki .. and i don't know why he acted like that .. he just collapsed on the floor " she said as her body was shaking from crying .. i hugged her tight

"ni-ki what's wrong ?" i heard jay asked .. i turned to see ni-ki who's now unable to move .. what's wrong with him?

"U-uncle.." he said but stuttering "what? he's your uncle?" sunghoon said at him .. hmm this is interesting

"no ! he's a criminal !"he said as anger filled his eyes .. he looked at shaira .. shaira kept wiggling  in my arms .. i released her from the hug but still holding her  .. i need to keep her .. i don't want her to go to ni-ki

riki" she said to ni-ki

"don't call me that name ! your father was a criminal ! " ni-ki shouted

"wait riki!" i was still holding her wrist to stop her from running for ni-ki

"why are you stopping me ?! i need to go to him " she kept on pulling her hands from my hold .. I'm still not saying a word

"why couldn't you talk now jake ? i need to go .. " i free her because i could feel she's hurt from my grasp and she's so desperate to run for ni-ki

" why are you acting so weird? " she said as she run after ni-ki  .. i felt hurt .. it feels like she chooses ni-ki over me

" alright ! we have to follow ni-ki .. " jay said as the others just nodded except for me as i was so deep in my thoughts about shaira choosing ni-ki

" jake ! why are you not moving ? c'mon" sunghoon said but was so distracted "yahh ! what are you waiting for ? we must follow ni-ki "
he grabbed my wrist out and followed ni-ki
