" no it can't be .. jake is a dear friend and what I'm thinking is ridiculous .. " she unbelievably said to herself .

"I must be confused but I'm sure that Jake is just a friend to me and Ni-ki is the one I love .. " she uttered again

" but he doesn't love me anymore .. " well she just thought of that because of Jake's lies but the truth is , Ni-ki still love her until now

just a thought of Ni-ki and she went miserable again .. she really misses the boy .. tears started to roll again on her cheeks as she reminisce all the memories that the both of them shared .

"jake said that he likes another girl in Korea but why is it that until now half of my heart won't believe it .. he ignores my letters but why can't I hate him fully ? is it because my love for him was so strong that i trust him fully ? i wonder if all that he said was true .. because i had this feeling that something's not sitting right " she talked to her self again .. being alone made her think more .. more about Ni-ki .

the absence of Jake was an opportunity for shaira to be with herself and to think of Ni-ki again .. at this point , jake has failed his mission .. the mission to make her forget Ni-ki .. he didn't even had a half of it because shaira had been thinking about Ni-ki always but at some point got distracted by Jake ..

if this keep on happening Jake might really lose his chance to make her fall for her .. because whatever that he may do , Shaira's heart just belongs to Ni-ki ..

a week after Jake arrived at Korea , he went to Jay's cafe to meet his friends .. and to do something related to his plan .

he's really confident that he can ruin Ni-ki .. he decided to bribe Haejin , Ni-ki's co-worker to do something for him ..

after Haejin's shift , he approached her to talk to her but he made sure that no one else could see them

" hey Chu Hae Jin " he called the girl .. the girl looked at him ..

" ahh yes sir Sim .. what do you need ?" she asked at the older male

" I know that you needed money because your mom is at the hospital right now because of cancer and you have to sustain you and your brother's school fees , so if you want .. I'm giving you another part time job " Haejin was confused as to how he knew this kind of information about her .. and why is he giving her another job

" ummm , sir how did you-" she didn't even finished her sentence when Jake talked again

" I had my research and i could tell that you badly needed money " jake said with a smirk on his lips

" so what exactly the job you are offering me ?" she must be sure that this isn't something illegal .. Hae Jin can't do something that will get her jailed

" don't be nervous .. it's not illegal .. and your task is so simple .. " he paused and cleared his throat

" you'll just have to be closed with Ni-ki .. befriend him .. " the girl was just listening to him and contemplating if she should obey this friend of her boss with weird behavior

" and if possible , make him fall for you " she was taken aback at his last phrase .. why would he want her to do this things ? what is his reason ?

" what ? why am I doing that ?and Ni-ki is so hard to talk to .. I'm afraid I can't do what you want .. sorry " she refused jake's offer and about to walk away from this weirdo

" I'll pay for your mom's therapy and medications just do what I said to you " she paused from her tracks and looked again at jake .. she really needed money for her mom

" are you sure sir ? but what is your reason behind this ? " she asked

" it's none of your business .. if you're okay with our deal , I'll call my secretary to process the money for you right now " he grimly said

" and also , I don't want anyone to know about this .. if you failed to do everything I said to you , I won't pay you even a cent " he threatened Hae Jin ..

" okay deal ! " she's desperate to do everything for her mom ..well , everything except illegal things ..

" alright now that we're settled , I'll call my secretary about the first payment " he called his secretary and a few minutes , someone from the hospital where Hae Jin's mom was confined call her .

" hello ? " she greeted the one who's on the other line

" ma'am may i request you to come here right now on the hospital .. someone has payed for your mom's therapy and I want you to confirm it so we'll start the procedure for your mom's medications " the caller said

" what ? okay okay .. I'm on my way ..bye " she ended the call and looked again at jake who's now looking at her and smirking

" so ? " Jake said

" thank you sir shim .. I promise i will do everything to fullfil my task " she confidently said to Jake

" okay I'll leave you now .. I'm checking you from time to time to make sure you're doing your part " he said and leave the girl

Hae Jin rushed to the hospital ..

" ugh .. whatever ! I'll just do it for the sake of mom's life .. I'll do everything to save her " she said to herself
