I'll make her mine

A year had passed and Ni-ki hasn't seen shaira .. he don't have any contact with her .. even shaira didn't even at least texted him or write him a letter .. Ni-ki still doesn't know where she is .. there's no one in their house and even Jake didn't told him where they are .. he couldn't tell if jake was really had known nothing or he was just hiding it from Ni-ki ..

ni-ki was slowly losing hope every single day  .. he thought Shaira really abandoned him .. that she really forgets about him . well it's his fault that he broke up with her .. and said to forget about him .. he has no one to blame but himself

he just focus on his studies .. he's still working at jay tho and he has a new co-worker .. it's been 3 months that jay hired another part timer because he could see that Ni-ki is struggling to manage his cafe at night .. so he hired a helper for him .. it's also a student from same school where ni-ki goes and also same grade level as him .

but ni-ki was not talking to her if it's not for their work .. he even doesn't talk to her at school even if she was the one to initiate to start a conversation first .. it's annoying for Ni-ki ..

Ni-ki was back to his old cold self and his hyungs was worried for him

but what can he do .. only shaira could bring happiness in him

Shaira on the other hand , was sending letters to Ni-ki .. she still wasn't allowed to use a phone until now but she could go outside since she had to go to school .

Every month , she writes a letter for Ni-ki but she just send it to Jake's address in korea instead because of what her dad said that no one should know where they are .. but Jake was an exemption because they live on the same village where jake's parents was also living . Everytime Jake comes to Australia , he oftentimes visits shaira .

But she doesn't know that Jake wasn't even giving Ni-ki the letters that Shaira wrote for him . He just said that Ni-ki was still angry at them and he just ignored her letters ..

Shaira was sad of course but kept on sending letters for Ni-ki not knowing that none of them arrive to the recipient

Until one day Jake went home again to Australia to visit his parents .

Shaira was excited hoping that there'll be news about Ni-ki or he had also wrote her a letter .. she had high hopes

"Jakeyyy ! what's up ? do i have a letter from Ni-ki?" she asked excitedly .. jake just rolled his eyes

"nope shai .. I don't think he'll ever respond to your letters . i think he moved on " he lied

"oh okay then " she lowered her head and a tear escaped from her eyes .. she can't believe Ni-ki really forgets about her

"don't cry for him .. he's not worth for your tears" he said calming the girl "and also i remembered .. there's this girl that he's into recently" he was referring to the part timer in Jay's cafe

" what ? is she the reason why ni-ki hasn't responded to my letters ?" she asked with a hint of jealousy

" i don't think so .. this girl was just recently worked to replace you in the cafe .since Ni-ki can't do all the works in his shift .. so she's not the reason since you've been giving him letters for a year now " he was just making up a story

" oh a replacement for me huh ? so practically speaking , he'll also replace me in his heart .. or he already had replaced me" she was now mad

" I'm not really sure shai .. but i often see them so close when i visit the cafe .. " another lie

" wow .. he really forgets fast .. i hate him "

" just don't trust people who you have known for a short period of time shai  .. you should stick to those who are with you for years .. like me " he proudly said

" yeah yeah .. because we're best friends .. we're literally siblings with different parents " she rolled her eyes but jake was a bit hurt because of what she said

" but i don't want to be your best friend anymore" he mumbled

" what did you say ?" she hasn't heard it clearly ..

" oh nevermind .. let's go to your dad .. I'm giving him something "  she nodded .. they went to Shaira's dad as he said he was giving something to him

"dad.. jake's here !" she informed her dad who's now taking a rest in his bed

" let him in .. " her dad said as jake entered the room .. leaving shaira outside since she doesn't want to go and listen yo their conversation

"Jake .. son ! how are you ?" Shaira's dad opened his arms to hug jake

"hi uncle .. I'm fine , how about you ?" he hugged the old man then sat on a chair beside his bed after

" here .. a bit weak , still suffering from anxiety .  it's hard that doctor lee was far from me .. he's only my trusted doctor .. I've tried consulting doctors here but it's still the same "

" im afraid you'll get worse uncle ..should i bring you to some advanced hospitals here ?" jake offered

" no no .. i can take care of myself .. so by the way .. have you done what I've been telling you ?"

" I'm still working on the process .. tho , she still loves him "

" make her forget about him .. it's been a year and there's no improvement .. you have to level up your game jake "

" yes uncle .. I'm still keeping those fucking letters that she's sending to Ni-ki .. I even made up a story about ni-ki's affair to make her fall out of love "  he said very determined to broke the bond of lovers

" good .. just make the affair believable .. so that she'll not doubt to forget him  and chose you instead "jake just nodded

" I'm still planning to talk to your parents about your engagement  , i think it's better to announce it on Shaira's debut .. so be ready and make sure that by that time she's already yours so we can't have any problem "

" alright .. I'll my best to make her fall for me .. it's my only chance  .. I've been wanting her since we're kids and i don't want anyone to have her other than me " he said determined .. he really wanted shaira to the point that he'll do anything just to get her

"that's the spirit jake .. i could only trust her to you " Shaira's dad patted his shoulders

"ill do everything just to make her mine "

please don't hate me because I turned Jake into this .. i just needed to do it for the story .. he really suits for the second lead role :)
