KING'S LANDING

The sun sets down, and the night has come. It was so dark, and there was huge silence around the city. Samwell was in the huge library of King's Landing. He was trying to find something, he knows he has to try everything to save Daenerys, but he had no idea and no knowledge about that mysterious force, that took Dany's life power away. He was the man of sciences, meanwhile, he knew there are inexplicable things in the world. Even he met many of those. Jon Snow and Daenerys both were resurrected... and he did not have any explanation for those happenings either. Maybe that force exceeds his knowledge. It was so much easier, with Jenifire. She knew a lot of things. She found answers for many things that he never figured out. But... he couldn't save her, and not it seems he has no chance to save the Queen. Despite the fact, that he promised Jon. He buried his face to his palms and he was trying to think. Maybe Nesera could help him, but she did not answer his knocks. She locked up in her room and no matter how hard they tried to ask her for help, she did not answer. She ignored them. Maybe ... Sam leaned back on his chair. Why Jenifire died, why Daenerys' life is in danger, meanwhile she is alive and well. If they all were helping together to Missandei... she should have been in the same condition. Not that he wished that for her. No, he was happy that she is alive, but that makes no sense.

"Sam?" he heard a knock and Arya stepped inside.
"What are you doing here? Where is the..."
"In safe. With Tormund." Arya smiled. "He ... they fell asleep. In her room. He said he won't let her alone." she continued and sat next to him. "Seeing your face...gives no cause for hope." she sighed.
"Daenerys knew. She felt she ... she asked me to ... kind of adopt Missandei if anything happens with them. Of course, I don't have to because Jon survived but..."
"He won't survive if he loses her again," Arya added. "I am sure he dies if he..." she swallowed.
"That is what I am afraid of," Sam admitted.
"He lost her once." Arya continued. "He killed her and based on the things that Tormund said, it almost killed him too. The loss and the pain. He doesn't deserve it." a tear fell from her eye and she swiped it quickly. "He always wanted to help people, he always fought for everyone else. Now we have to fight for him. We have to do everything to save her."

"Please!" Nesera was begging to the flames. "Please. I regretted it. You have to help me. You cannot deny your power." she was crying desperately. There were many candles around her and the flames were so mystical. She knows her Lord hears her, but she also knows she doesn't deserve his trust anymore. She failed. She exactly knew what she had to do, but she was afraid to do it. She was ...selfish and she made a mistake. She exactly knew she has to die that day. She should have died, but she was a coward to sacrifice herself for the realm. For the people. For Daenerys. Now she knew it was her biggest mistake. How Missandei was looking at her. The little girl knows too. She knows it is her fault. Daenerys trusted her. She remembered quite well when Daenerys said she belongs to her family, and the Queen would have sacrificed herself for her family, not like... she was not that brave. And because of her cowardice, she destroyed the future of Westeros. They should have ruled together. The Lord wanted that. It was so clear. She felt and heard his words on her head, when Kinvara sacrificed herself for them, to save them from the deads. She knew the order, and she denied it at the moment when she pulled her hand away and did not give all her power to the little girl. "I can bring her back." she raised her eyes at the flames again. "I am going to bring her back if you help me." she continued begging to the fire.

On the other side of the castle, Missandei opened her eyes and turned to the candles. She saw Nesera in it. She saw in the flames how she is begging the Lord to change his decision. She squeezed her blanket and she whispered some words quietly. "Give us the power to save my mom."

Jon also woke up. The wind started to blow so fiercely. He even heard a wolf howling. Probably it was Ghost, but he was not sure, he was not just dreaming. He swallowed and opened his eyes. The medicines that Sam gave him really helped. He felt better but weak. He tried to look around, and he spotted Daario in the room. He was sleeping in the chair. He slowly turned his head to Daenerys. She was in the same position like hours ago when he was oppressed by those sedatives. So nothing changed. He tried to put all his strength together, and he pushed himself up on the bed. He sat to the edge of it and hesitated. He did not want to wake Daario up. He knew Daario is there to keep him in his bed, to prevent him to do any thoughtless or rash thing. He slowly stood up and took a careful step towards Daenerys.  He sat to the edge of her bed and grabbed her hand. Raised it up and gave a kiss to it. He placed his other hand on her cheek and caressed it. He barely could sit there but he wanted to touch her. He wanted to feel her. He needed her like he needed air. His eyes filled with tears, while he was caressing her face, and she did not react to his touches.
