KING'S LANDING

"Dany." Jon found her with Drogon. A bit further from the city. She was caressing the huge beast's head. The small dragons were around him. There were four unsullied soldiers around them. At least she did not leave the capital alone. She ran away. After Tyrion and the others mentioned they should rule or their daughter, she left without any word. She walked out of the room. She needed time and space. She needed to be alone.
"How did you know I'll be here?" she asked him quietly and glanced at him.
"When you are stressed and worried... there are two places where you go in general. To our daughter... or to Drogon." Jon smiled kindly. "You were not with Missandei So... it was not hard."
"You should have not left Missandei alone," she answered.
"I did not. Arya and Gendry are with her. No one can hurt her." Jon placed his palm to Drogon's face too. Drogon sounded some purring voice. "Although I don't think anyone would want to hurt her. Not anymore," he added. Daenerys did not answer. She was standing there in silence. "We should talk about it." Jon sighed. "The things that they said."
"See. That is why I left." Dany pulled her hand back and turned away "Because I don't want to talk about it." she started to walk away.

"It is your decision." Jon took a deep breath and she stopped. "I follow you anywhere, I stay by your side, no matter... what will be your decision. I am not going anywhere. I accept if you still wanna go and leave everything behind, and I accept if you wanna stay and take your place as a Queen." he continued so calmly. Dany turned back to him and scanning his face.
"I've always wanted it. Them... to look at me that way as they are looking at me now. I always wanted them to say those words to me. To see that I am able to rule the kingdom. That I am the one who can make this Kingdom a better place." she was trying to tell her feelings in words. "I longed for this. For a very long time." she lowered her head. "A part of me still wants this," she admitted with a small smile. "A part of me wants to take the throne. Wants to rule. But I know you don't want this. I know you never wanted it. And... no matter how many times you are going to tell me, that you stay by my side, that you don't care we stay or not. I know you don't want to stay. I know you'd be ... disappointed in me if I decide I want to rule." she sighed.
"That is not true. I respect and love you." Jon narrowed his eyes. "I meant my words."
"But you don't desire this life." Dany swallowed back her tears. "And ... I promised you... I'll make you the happiest man. How can I do it, if I force you to live a life that you don't want? How can you be happy in that way?"

"I think your hormones confuse you." Jon couldn't help himself but smiles. He stepped to her and placed his palm on her cheek. "You are talking silly things." he was staring at her face.
"But what kind of mother are you going to think of me if I sacrifice our daughters our children's happiness... for a thing that I want? I can't be that selfish with you. With them." she shook her head and a tear rolled down on her face.
"You are the greatest mother in the Seven Kingdoms." Jon smiled at her so reassuringly. "In the whole world. That is not a question. Nothing can change my opinion about it."
"You don't have to lie to me." Dany shook her head.
"It is not a lie." Jon took her hands. "You want the best for your family. For me. And also... you want the best for the people in the Seven Kingdoms. Just as I do." he added and sighed. "We ... you and I made impossible things to happen. Together. We created life. We defeated our enemies. We ... we found a way to be together again, after those horrible things. We ... together we are capable of many things. Many good things. Maybe they are right. Maybe we should take our place as the rulers of the Seven Kingdoms because that is how we can make a better world. Until we are together, nothing can go wrong. I believe in that." he raised her hands and kissed those. "And as rulers we can change some things." he smiled. "For example we should repeal the law that says the Grand Master can't have wife and children. Samwell never got the title from Bran. Ahm... We should repeal the law that says the wildings are not equal to the people living in this side of the Wall. As I felt based on Tormunds words... it is still a problem." he took a deep breath. "We could equalize the rights and responsibilites of women and man." he shrugged. "And I could go on..."
