DRAGONSTONE

"So that was the first time, when I was riding on a dragon. I was a grown-up girl" Dany told Missandei in her room. Nesera was there with them and listening to her quietly. "You are a real Targaryen darling, but you have to wait with that." she caressed her face. "Promise me, you'll never try this again without our permission." she stared her face.
"But someday Can I ride them?" she was so innocent. There was a so kind and gentle grin on Dany's face.
"Of course darling, but only on one of them. A dragon only can have, one rider," she explained.
"Why?" now it was Nesera who asked her. She raised her eyes at the priestess. "I am sorry. I just... wondered. But..."
"No. It's not a problem." Dany nodded with a smile. "They are the ones who chose their riders. There is a deep link between them, this has been the case since the beginning. Since the first dragons were born." she shrugged her shoulders. "Drogon chose me when he came to that arena and saved me."
"Daddy doesn't have a dragon." Missandei noticed.
"He had one." Dany swallowed. "Drogon had two siblings. They were born at once. Viserion and Rhaegal. Ahm... But... many bad things happened before you were born." she continued. "But we'll take care of those things not to happen again." she wiped her hair away from her face. "So you don't have to worry."
"Can I come in?" Jon entered the room and asked quietly.
"Anytime." Dany sighed and she tried to smile at him.
"So. Darling." he crouched in front of them. "Did your mother explain why you can't do this anytime again?"
"Just when I grow up" Missandei giggled and Jon raised his eyes at Dany.
"She is a Targaryen." Dany shrugged her shoulders. "It is in her blood."
"We should discuss this later." Jon frowned and pulled a face then kissed Missandei's hand. "Your daddy would not be happy if you do it."
"You did too," she told him. "Mommy told me."
"I did." Jon swallowed. "Once or twice."
"He was quite good at it." Dany leaned to Missy's ear and whispered with a smile.
"If your mother says so." Jon lowered his head. Dany was staring at him. There was so much sadness and repentance in her eyes. She hated it when he is that cold with her. She was drowning in the situation. She wanted to tell him she did not do it because she wanted to hurt him. She just... wanted to know the truth and prepare themselves if Sansa is planning anything.
"Are you angry with her?" Missandei asked a question that they did not expect. Jon surprised and looked to his daughter.
"With who?" he shook his head.
"With mommy," she answered so easily. Jon glanced at Dany, but she did not understand that question either.
"Sometimes ... adults don't agree on everything. Sometimes they do things ... that the other person won't really like or understand." he cleared his throat and he glanced at Dany again with a quite angry look. She knew what he was thinking, but she did not say a word about it, to their daughter. He stood up, and took a deep breath. "Nesera please stay. I'd need to talk with Daenerys." he turned to the red priestess then he just left the room.
"Everything is alright, baby." Dany kissed her daughter's head and stood up.
"She felt it," Nesera stated before Dany could step outside. "She felt there is something wrong. Some hours ago. She wanted to find her father. I don't know how." Nesera spread her arms. Daenerys looked to her daughter and nodded, then she walked out of the room.

"He seems quite angry," Daario stated. He was standing right in front of Missandei's door.
"We did not have a chance, to discuss it." Dany swallowed.
"He went to your room. Or rather stormed there." Daario admitted.
"Thank you." Daenerys sighed, and she placed her hand to the door handle, and after a moment she opened it. He was standing at the table, with his back at her. His mind was racing, he did not want to talk with her until he calms down. He knew that only cause more debate, and he did not want to argue with her.
"I am glad that you are finally willing to talk with me," Dany stated quietly.
"You did not give me another choice," Jon answered a bit hostile.
"I did nothing." Dany shook her head.
"You know our daughter is my weakness, so you used her to force me to talk with you." Jon turned to her.
"If you really think that... then you still don't even know me. I would never involve her in our problems with each other." she hissed.
"Then how does she know?" Jon pulled a face.
"I don't know Jon. Maybe ask Nesera. You know our daughter is special. It wouldn't be the first time when she feels that there is some problem with us." Dany made it clear. "But if you think I'd turn our daughter against you anytime... we really don't have to talk about anything." she shook her head and now she was angry with him too. She understood that he was disappointed in her because she did not tell her plan about Sansa, but he should have known she would never use their daughter to solve their problems with each other. "If that is all ... " she opened her mouth then she wanted to leave.
"I've told her." Jon sighed. "I've told my sister if she tries to hurt my daughter, I won't hesitate to kill her. Not with these words, but that was the meaning of it."
"Then I think we made it pretty clear for her." She answered "I've told the same to her not too long ago." she glanced at Jon. "I am sorry." she swallowed. "I did not know, how would you react if you got to know I plan some... scam against your sister," she admitted.
"You could have asked." Jon narrowed his eyes. "But you did not even try."
"I could have." Dany nodded. "You are right, and you have every right to be mad at me," she admitted, and it surprised Jon. "I wanted to tell you in the morning but... I was a coward to do it" she crossed her fingers in front of her body.
"You thought I won't figure out?"
"No. I knew... you will." Dany avoided looking at him. "It was not a thing, that I can keep hidden" she felt embarrassed. "But I did not do it because I don't trust you."
"Then what is the explanation?" he asked her. He was still cold, kept the distance.
"I don't know." she shook her head. "I really don't." she bit her lip. "I was just not sure, that you would agree with it. I... I don't know what else can I say."

Jon raised his eyes to the ceilings. He clearly needed every piece of him to control himself.
"You know what hurts the most?" he started after a minute of silence. "That, when I asked you... to let her talk with Tyrion. You refused. You started to yell with me. You freaked out. Then you let Daario make it happen. Because if he offers it.. it is a good idea." he lowered his head. "After all those years, you still trust him more, than me." those words were so hard to say.
"I don't. There is no one else who I trust more." Dany stepped closer to him. "It was... Jenifire told something, that makes me realize I ... need someone who can get closer to Sansa. And Daario... was an obvious solution, but... I don't trust him more than you." she tried to make him understand. "Jon. Please." she placed her hand to his hand.
"I love you Dany." he narrowed his eyes. "That is why it hurts that much" he told to her face. "You asked me to not keep any secrets from you, no matter how it hurts. I understood. But I thought those rules are for both of us. I thought you don't keep secrets from me either." he was talking so quietly and he was sad. She felt how he placed his other hand on her hand. He caressed it a bit.
"Can you forgive me?" Dany asked him and she was clearly fighting with her tears. Jon kissed her forehead.
"It is not about forgiveness. Not this time," he whispered. "I know you want the best for our daughter, but ... your methods ... I can't agree with those. I am a straight and honest man. I don't like lies and betrayal. Especially not when you keep those hidden from me." he told her, and he let her hands away. "We have to keep our eye on Sansa. But I don't think she'll try to kidnap or hurt Missandei." he turned his back at her and poured a glass of water for himself. "Not after she probably knows, that we know about her plan. She is not that brave." he drank into the glass.
"What if she is?" Dany asked him quietly. She understood she went too far, and he needs time to forgive her, even if that kills her inside.
"There is no mercy for the ones, who try to hurt her," Jon answered and looking at Daenerys. "No matter she is my sister or not. But I want to believe, she knows what is the right thing to do. Or at least... sooner or later, she'll figure out."
"I hope not too late." Dany lowered her head.
"Ahm. You've told that you sent Yara, to check the shores. It was a good decision." Jon continued and changed the topic. "I noticed the clouds too." he walked to the window. "I remember that ... you've told that Missandei has some bad dreams about the white walkers." he glanced at her above his shoulder. "What if she is right? I know she is just a child, but, what if the Night King really wants her, and that is why they are waiting for us there? To take another move." he opened up with his thought.
"I don't think I understand." Dany took a step towards him.
"She is the key to kill the raven. We know it. Her blood." Jon continued. "What if her blood is good for something else. For the deads to ... win. Somehow." Jon rolled his eyes. "If they are still there, we have to count on that possibility too. That means... our daughter is in greater danger than we already thought."
"I've dreamed about it too." Dany was standing right next to him at that moment. "You and she had blue eyes, and I was dying. It felt so real," she told him. "And the Night King was standing right behind you, and ... it seemed he won." she tried to remember back to every detail. Jon looked down at her.
"We don't let him win this war. Neither the raven." he sounded so determined. "We promised a better world for the people, and I intend to keep my promise." he looked outside. Dany couldn't answer. She was not that confident at that moment. She was scared and she was afraid. She was not ready to lose them. Neither Jon, neither Missandei. It was her biggest nightmare. She felt how he placed his arm around her shoulder, and pulled her to his embrace. A tear finally rolled down in her face. She let it out. She did not want to act strong.
"I am so sorry." she barely could talk and she clutched him close. Her voice was trembling.
"I know." Jon sighed, and kissed her forehead again. He knew she loves him. That was not a question. And he loved her. More than anything. The silence was huge in the room. Both of them knew how the other feels. They knew each other so much. So deep, and they also knew they can't live their life without the other. While they were standing there, in each others arms, Jon spotted a ship, which just docks in the harbor.
"Dany," he whispered her name and she raised her eyes at him, then turned to the window. Yara is back.
