I hurriedly go to the kiln after having lunch and explain everything to Jilko. Jilko is hesitant at first when I disclose that it is closely related to black mana but upon Kif's reassurance, she quickly becomes motivated to do a good job. Kif must've already heard about what I'm doing since he is letting Jilko be involved.

"Nom nom!"

"That's right. If we can make it work, it'll help a lot of people."

Archie is obediently staying seated on my lap because I warn the red panda to stay close to me before he goes lurking around the kiln and might accidentally get too close to the furnaces. Jilko and I exchange ideas while noting down the pros and cons until it filled more than ten pages of my notebook. In our discussion, Jilko tremendously helps with the design of the magi devices based on my rough sketches and suggest which part should go where to raise efficiency. I leave completing the design planning to her while I figure out the magi formulas. This is my first time attempting on writing magi formulas that require detailed and precise instructions that it's giving me a massive headache. In retrospect, the magi formula I worked on for the camera's memory card is much easier than this. Speaking of which, the camera is taking more time to perfect since there are more things to take into account than merely thinking I could succeed after a few trials and errors.

Anyways, Kif says he'll revise the magi formulas in case there's something I miss or that needs to be corrected. Two pair of eyes are better than one. Because I'm receiving assistance from reliable people, I don't have to spend the first three of the five days given under extreme stress which gives me the last two days to put my presentation in order. Just like that, the day of the presentation arrives.

The place for the presentation is in Lord Sol's office which is expected since he's the one who assigned this task to me. Naturally, he will also be the one evaluating. However, two other people are sitting leisurely and drinking iced tea as though their attendances are to be expected.

"Isn't it a given the ones to assess the task given to you, our disciple, will be us, your instructors?"

Chief speaks up as though he's aware of my thoughts.

"Aren't you busy?"

Chief wave off my question.

"I intended to come down from the mountain and inspect the progress of the mining town. This is a fortunate timing."

Bet Chief left the mountain without telling anyone again. He mentions mining town. I haven't had the chance to go there again and it was my first time in a human town too, though the mining town is more like a multi-cultural town because the population are not only made of humans but also dwarves and gnomes. Wonder when Kif is going to schedule another field trip to the mining town? The improved kitchen appliances Jilko and I made together are ready to be patented at the Commercial Guild.

"Archie is not with you," Auntie El comments.

I turn to Auntie El and responds. "I told Archie to stay with Bane today."

Archie is currently sprawling next to Bane by the unlit fireplace.Lord Sol claps his hand together to get our attention and begin speaking.
