"Well, that's beautiful. So obviously, you all know about the happy couple. How did you break it to the team?" Matt questions.
The room falls silent and Lena clears her throat. This was a part of their love story that she hated looking back on. Aaron squeezed Lena's waist tight as guilt washes over him.
Rossi steps in for the both of them, "They never told us, it was the accident that gave it all away."
"Accident?" Matt cocks his eyebrow.
Penny looks up with misty eyes, "The bomb."
"We had been dating for seven months at that time. Still hiding our relationship and getting ready to move in with each other. We were packing up my apartment when we got called in on a case." Aaron chokes out.

"Okay! I'll be right down. Make sure you leave first! I'll take Jack to Jessica's place." I yell from the bedroom.

Aaron leaves and I rush to get Jack ready. I adored that little boy, he and I have become so close.
"Hey sweet boy, I need you to get ready for Aunty Jessica's house, okay?"
"Okay Le, I will. Can I bring my new toy?"
"If that means getting you out the door faster then yes!"
"Woohoo!"

I drop Jack off, we say our I love yous and I'm rushing to the office.

"Hi, I'm here!" I nod to Aaron letting him know the drop off went well.
"Perfect peaches because this one is a doozy and we are going to need our two geniuses at full capacity." Garcia zips into the room.
"What do we got Angel face?"
"Five shootings in two weeks, you will be heading to Lena's home away from home, New York."
"There will be more time to debrief on the plan. Garcia, you're coming with us." Hotch says quickly.
"What do we know?" I say.
"The killings are mid-day, single gunshot to the head with a .22." Garcia points at the tv with her remote.
"Any witnesses?" Both JJ and Emily say.
"No."Hotch jumps in.
Spence lists countless facts about the gun.
"It could be that people aren't even registering the gunshot until the unsub's already leaving the scene." I guess.
"These sound like mob hits," Derek says.
"This guy is bold." Rossi states.
"We leave now." Hotch walks out of the room.
