Lena's Lament

*Current Day*

Matt was perplexed, "Woah, Woah, Woah! You kissed! But you- and- wha-!"

"Yup..." Lena and Aaron said at the same time.

"And how did you find out it was the boys doing?" Leasen asked quickly.

"When Noah and I were driving back home he had said how happy he was that their plan worked. When I asked him what he meant, he revealed how Jack, Jessica, Aunt Liv, and he had set up the whole thing." Lena shook her head.

"Jessica and Olivia, but they knew you were both taken..." Matt looked at the couple.

"My sentiments exactly," Lena said slowly.

*Time Travel*

"You have no business meddling in my relationships!" I was pacing in my study, yelling at my Aunt. I had pulled her into my office the minute she arrived to pick up Noah.

I closed the door before I continued, "I can't believe you would do something like this! Goddamnit, I'm finally happy and moving on and-"

"Did something happen?" Aunt Liv smirked.

I sat down at my desk, "N-No, you don't get to ask me that! You know I'm with Jethro, he would do anything for you! Why did you do this, Aunty? Why?"

Olivia scoffed, "Lena, you don't really love Jethro. You love the security he gives you. But, you know who you do love?"

"Stop it! What are you doing?" I yell.

"Lena, calm down-" I cut my Aunt off.

"No, do you really not see the issue here? I have a trip to pack for, you can see yourself out." I said, my hand squeezing my temple.

Aunt Liv furrowed her brows, "Awe, Little-"

"No, you can leave now..." I get up and open the office door to let her leave.

Is it her fault Aaron and I kissed? No. Is it her fault for putting me in that situation? Yes.

I watched as Noah and Aunt Liv left and I made my way to the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of wine and went to my bedroom to pack. I was still going to go on this trip with Jethro, I loved him. When Noah and I got home there was a note on the table from Jethro, letting me know that he was out with Tony and that he'd be back later. So here I was alone again. What did I do?

I would eventually have to tell him what happened, but that could wait. We were about to go on an amazing, romantic adventure. Aaron and I are done, I have to focus on Jethro. How am I going to face him? Why did I kiss back? Why?

*Current Day*

"Thank God Jethro wasn't a profiler. My thoughts were eating me up from the inside. I was feeling so guilty." Lena smiled and looked down at her wedding ring.

"Over one kiss?" Matt asked.

"Oh, don't be so foolish Matthew. That was no kiss, that was reignition, that was their wake-up call." Rossi chuckled.

Matt was annoyed "So, you still went with Jethro to Alaska?"

Lena looked up and over to Aaron, "Mhmm, I was convinced the kiss meant nothing to me."

"Jethro! This is amazing! Look at this view!" I put my bags down onto the dining room table and walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window.
