Third POV

They started walking in twos, Sammy with Yacht, Mew with Gulf and Techno with Champ, 5 minutes after walking Champ and Techno decided to sit on the spot as Techno was too tired and Champ wanted to accompany him. Sammy wanted balloons and kept nagging Yacht to buy some for her

and so he did asking Mew and Gulf to go ahead. Both Mew and Gulf walked forward for a while and then Gulf stopped to look at the sunset and so did Mew.

Mew and Gulf the only people for a distance on the beach, Mew started clicking images of the beach and the sunset and of Gulf in the sunset. Where Gulf was looking ahead at the beach just waiting for the sun to sink in the water and submerge completely.

"You know, I always loved watching the sunset" Gulf spoke and Mew was starting to feel glad that Gulf was opening up. "I don't know why I just love it, I'm just too lazy to wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise but sunset I would come straight home after school and run to the roof to see the sun sinking below the buildings, this is actually the first time I'm looking at a beach sunset." he said and Mew couldn't help but wonder what kind of childhood did he have, as Gulf kept suggesting in many instances that this is his first time on the beach and his first time for many things.

"You know I would be so tired and hungry after school but I would still run to the roof and my mom would come find me with food and snacks, she would somehow always know that I am on the roof when it's around this time and she would sit with me to watch it. Every single day the same routine, even though I know it's the same sun and it's just gonna go down. But every day I would watch it hoping for something" he said

"What is that? I mean what were you hoping for?" Mew asked

"My mom once said that when she was a child her dad used to take her to the beach and one day when they were watching the sunset, as the sun sank down just when there was a tip of light they saw a bright green light flash on the sky." Gulf said with eyes full of wonder as if it was something magical.

The whole time Mew was just looking at Gulf's face, Gulf looked at Mew and his quizzical expression and said "you don't believe me right? To be honest I don't believe it too, but I just hope for it to happen, and the hope doubled when my mom sat next to me and watched it with me as the same amount of hope as mine." and then Gulf's expression turned sad.

"Until.." Gulf said

"Until ??" Mew asked

"Until that one day, my mom had to leave me, after that watching the sunset just wasn't the same as before" Gulf said looking at the sand.

Mew couldn't help but feel even more curious about Gulf and his family. There were so many questions that he wanted to ask Gulf, Mew couldn't bear to see the sad expression on Gulf's face so he dared to do something he never did before.

Mew slowly raised his hand and gently touched Gulf's chin in order to make Gulf look at him, it worked Gulf saw Mew with a confused look and then Mew slowly brought his other hand near Gulf's forehead and slightly brushed off the bangs near Gulf's eyes. Gulf was beyond confused and what happened next left both of them shocked.

Mew slowly reached up to Gulf's forehead and placed a soft kiss. Right at that moment the shocked face of Gulf looked at the sunset before him and his expression completely turned into a happy one, Mew did not stop to analyse the expression but just turned to the same direction of Gulf's and they saw it. They saw the bright green light flash in the sky.

"Did you see that? Did you see that?" Gulf asked without believing it himself  "did you just see the green light? You did right? Tell me you did ?" Gulf was too excited he did not know it himself and he started to shake Mew to get an answer out of him

Where as Mew was still speechless he was just there listening to Gulf's story about the green flash and now he saw it himself, he was completely speechless, he had so many emotions within him that he couldn't explain, but first he have to answer the over excited baby or else he might shake the brains out of Mew.

Mew just looked into Gulf's eyes and nodded and he still couldn't bring out any words and process all the feelings within him.
