Chapter 8: I hope

Bom (the oldest) lead us to a singing booth and obviously to sing any song that we want.

"Let's make a bet" Ara started

"what kind of bet is that?" I asked them out of the blue

"The person who has the highest score in any song in our karaoke..---"

"any kind of genre?" I again asked but this time they looked at me with those fiery eyes of theirs

"we only got 3 songs to sing and let's put it in average" Bom winked and everyone agreed

"what does the winner take?" I asked

"Got question Jayviee... hmmm... how about the winner will never do the chores in a month and until our debut while the 2 people who got the lowest scores will be the one who will do the cleaning and cooking.. How about that?" the oldest said and everyone agreed to it

"You two go first" they said and all of them sat

" I'll go first then" I announced and get the microphone and press the numbers that I really wanted to sing. I am a BTS fan so this will not go to be hard

My first choice is Fake Love... I will knock them down at the start

Everyone was actually shocked by my song choice

"How can you manage to sing those high notes?--- this will be hard.... trust me... you better back out now" Ara smirked and everyone was confident that I will screw up in the middle

"Don't you know her nickname?" Jaemin said

"Nickname?? What is her nickname?" Everyone asked

"Tripple A" Jaemin smiled and was excited to see me sing

I cleared my throat and find those notes... While I was singing everyone got shocked by my voice and as I was hitting those high notes, it made the surroundings more tensed, and they kind of offended by me. I finished singing and I just made everyone's jaw dropped

"I knew it.. She really is a triple-A" Jaemin said clapping and welcomed me to sit. We focused our eyes on the score and jackpot, I got 99 on my first try

Byeol- 89, 92, 93

Yun Hee- 90, 93, 95

Ara- 88, 91, 90

Bom- 87, 90, 89

Jaemin- 89, 93, 92

Mina- 90, 91, 92

"Okayyyy... Does anyone have a question about the results?" Jaemin asked and every member lowered their head because of embarrassment. A newbie beating her older colleagues is somewhat offending

"Then... it's final. Bom and Ara will do everything while we will be praising our queen Jayviee" Byeol jokingly said

"Alright... a deal is a deal" Bom said "Now let's have fun!!!" she shouted as she brought out soju from the counter

"I can't drink this" I told them but suddenly I felt like I was getting hit by those laser eyes

"Let's play a game... the person who loses will drink" Bom (the oldest) said

and again... Everyone except me agreed

I sucked in games

"Jayvieee!!! Drink up" This was my tenth time to drink and my surroundings is starting to blur and was turning

I suddenly stood up and I can barely stand

"She has a low tolerance of alcohol" Someone said

"Jayviee where are you going?" Jaemin asked and help me

"It's okay.. It's okay.. I can manage to head back to our dorm. Don't worry about me" I told them and went to the bathroom

I searched for my phone in my bag and I suddenly don't know what's happening

Kim Sunoo's POV

"Yah! That's unfair... you must also do the thing that is shown on the TV" I laughed as I commented on what Heeseung is doing "I will just take this" I told them and look at my phone... It was Jayviee calling

"Ohhh~~ Sunoo's smiling~~~ Who's that? Is that a girl?" Jay asked

I excused myself and went to my room

"He---"

"Sunoo~~ya~ argh!!" she suddenly said

What's wrong with her?

"Why are you calling? Is it something important?" I asked

"I think ~barf~ everything is turning upside down... and ohh!! wahh!! The world is turning so fast" She suddenly said

"Are you drunk?" I asked her

"Drunk? who me??" she suddenly laughed "Arghh!!! Owww!! that hurts!" she suddenly said and I heard a metal getting punched "That hurts even more.. why are you so mean to me"

"Wait for me there okay? don't run by the streets... looking for somewhere you can take a seat" I told her

I immediately changed my clothes and wore my jacket

"Yah~~ Sunoo... Are you leaving too?" Jungwon asked me and it made me question myself

"too??"

"Actually... Sunghoon ran immediately outside after looking at his phone... Is there something wrong?" Heeseung told me

He ran out?? I must go to her first before him

"I need to go... I am sorry... I can't explain the situation now" I told them

I grab a cab because I easily get tired if I ran and it is faster than running

I searched a place... maybe a karaoke place near their dorm but it is quite far from there. I decided to go there

There was traffic right ahead of us so I might be taking my time to go to her. I am scared to run because I might pass out after running a few meters

I arrived at the places after how many minutes and searched for her but I see no sign of her beautiful face. I went inside the karaoke room's and look for her group members and I am sure about it when I saw Jaemin in one of the rooms

Yahhh!!! Where is she!!! I am getting worried!

I ran out and let my feet lead the way. I suddenly found her but Sunghoon arrived first before me. She was leaning on his shoulder.

I know that I have no chance to win her heart because I am also afraid that I might lose my friendship with Sunghoon. But still, I want to give it a try, she was the first girl who was able to fill my stomach with butterflies, who can make my heart skip a beat, and the girl that I will never forget after how many years.
