Chapter 30

"yahhh!!!! JV!!!" they all approached her but I felt my guilty about what I did

"waittt.... What did she eat?" Bom asked and looked at me furiously

"I---"

Byeol quickly taste every dish Sunghoon prepared.

"yahhh... Sunghoon-- did you perhaps put nuts in the dishes?" Byeol asked him with range.

I am caught

"you did didn't you!!" Byeol said as she grabbed him in the collar

"yahhh!! We don't have time for that!!!! Can't you see?!!! She can't breath!!!" Bom shouted

I didn't mean to go this far though. I remembered the time when we were at practice when she accidentally ate a chocolate almonds and it was the symptoms we saw today. She was rushed to the hospital quickly and since we have a medical team in the company, they manage to minimize the effects of the almonds on her.

That was the first time we knew that she was allergic on nuts.

I almost killed someone today because of my greed.

They rushed her to the hospital while I felt my hands were shaking nonstop. I felt guilty for what I did to her.

"JV!! Stay with me okay??" Sunghoon was tightly hugging her. I felt his sincere love, sincere feelings to her.

He loved her ever since and now I knew why JV joined the company. We had the same intentions all along.

Sunghoon was very very worried and I even saw a tear falling from his eyes

What have I done...

We reached the hospital, Bom pulled me and Byeol to wait here since we can't catch up with Sunghoon. He was a really fast runner even though he was carrying JV by himself.

The nurses and medical staffs quickly responded to the emergency. Sunghoon was not allowed to go in and we just watch JV from the outside. The doctors were quickly responding to her and gave her two shots of adrenaline on her thigh. They also connected an oxygen Defibrillator to her to help her breath, steroids to reduce any inflammation, and antihistamines to counter the allergic reaction.

Bom, Byeol and I sat down but Sunghoon insisted to watch her.

I am jealous at the moment but I am also scared because the reason she experienced a life threatening event was because of me.

"Jaemin... Why are you trembling so much" Bom said to me while she gave me a tight hug.

"It's okay... It was just an accident... Are you worried that she might die?" Bom encouraged me

"JV is a strong fighter so we don't need to worry that much" Byeol said

The doctor came out....

"Who is her gu---" Sunghoon immediately cut him off

"I am her guardian... (Sunghoon volunteers) How is she doing?" Sunghoon asked

"she has a severe reaction which is called anaphylaxis. We observed that she has a dilation of her blood vessels which results to the redness of her skin, an abnormal fast heart rate, and low blood pressure. The reason why S JV e can't breath properly was due to the swelling around her throat.
No need to worry though because we manage to lessen the reaction but we still must keep in watch because it might be followed with a second reaction after 1-8 hours" The doctor said

"hmm... You can now see her" the doctor said

"thank you very much" Sunghoon was pleased

It made me cry in the moment and excused myself. Bom followed me,

"I am so sorryyy" I teared up

"Why are you saying that... You did nothing wrong" Bom said and comforted me.

"you don-----"

"yahhh!!!! Sunghoon!!" someone shouted at him which made the two of us run to see what's happening

We saw Sunoo gave him a big punch on his face causing him to fall.

What's going on?

"You always knew that she has allergies on nuts and yet you made her eat them?!" Sunoo's range was something that we can't control.

"we should stop them from fighting" I told Bom but then she saw a someone in the entrance who was taking a lot of pictures on the issue

"We should stop him!!!" Bom said and ran for him while I tried to stop the two from fighting.

"You knew that since high school!!! Wh--- and most important of all is that she was!!! - - - she was your girlfriend in that moment!!" he didn't hesitate on revealing their relationship before.

"We shouldn't talk here..." Sunghoon said as he was trying to grasp on Sunoo's hand

"We should talk somewhere else" Sunghoon said as he was trying to convince Sunoo to follow him.

"I knew that she has allergies since highschool and you!!! Who was her boyfriend that year did not know about it??!! How could you" Sunoo said

"Wait!! Is that true?" Byeol stepped in

"that's why the air in the elevator was very awkward in that moment" Byeol said

"stop it!!!" Byeol said and stood in between them

"Yah!! Can we just pray for her recovery!!!" She shouted

"This was all your fault... Always remember that" Sunoo said and entered Jayviee's room

I slowly approached them and Sunghoon's eyes were full of resentment and anger towards me.

"Follow me" he said with his deep voice

I was literally shaking as I followed him to the staircase

"it was you isn't it" he started but I didn't even made an eye contact with him

"you changed the sauce after making me taste it to avoid suspicion right?" he asked me

"Tell me!!!!" he shouted as he grab my hand.

I was shocked about his behavior but I have no escape now.

"How could you do that?!!! She's your friend!!!" Sunghoon shouted at me again

"Yeah!! She's my friend but can a friend lie to another friend?? She lied to me and you!! You lied to me" I told him as I wipe of my tears

"Everytime I ask her about you... She always denies her relationship with you. You always look at her with lustful eyes but when you look at me... I couldn't feel anything special" I told him

"you were my friend after she left me and went to Paris. You brought me joy and happiness again but no one compares on how my life changed after spending time with Jayviee" he responded to me

"I am so sorryyy but if you want me to pick between you and her... I will always pick her more than anything else" he said which made my heart shred to piece

"I always knew that you had feelings for me" he said as he put his hand on my shoulders
