Chapter 15: Just

"what are you doing?" I asked him, but he hugs me tightly "what are you doing... Seriously?"

"I am sorry... I want to congratulate you and give you comfort for overcoming hell through your journey," he said

You were the one who is lost in track because of me

His hug really does give me comfort. I lay my head on his shoulder and responded to his hug. "This place never ceases to make me happy," I commented

"what?" he asked.

"I said thank you for being a friend and lent me your shoulder," I told him. "But you know the rules... We must not be together because I might ruin your career like what I did to you before," I told him and let him go as I fixed myself again and head out to meet Sunoo.

Sunghoon's POV

She can go out with Sunoo, but she can't even face me for just a second. Her eyes never look at me sincerely.

Flashback

Sunoo was always on his phone and smiling like the sun, which made me curious. I have always known that he never let his eyes wander to any girl, but those eyes were always the same in front of this specific girl.

We are like family, but both are unwilling to give up this girl we longed for years.

"Sunoo.." I called for him

"why??" he responded

"let's play" I smiled and pulled him

"I am busy for a bit," he said and hid his phone behind his back

"ohh~" I replied, and I just played with Jake and Heeseung Hyung

"guys... Can I leave first? I have a meeting with someone," Sunoo announces, and everyone agreed

They were going to tease him, but no one bothered who will he meet in the middle of the night

Jv's POV

I slowly walk inside the restaurant, and he was cautious in choosing a restaurant because it was a private dining room for those who are doing business and stuff.

I walk into the room, and there he was, waiting for me in the corner of the table.

"yahhh... This place is expensive," I told him as I sat down

"This is only the place where no one can see us sharing a table," he told me and smiled "just hope that the waitress and all of them don't post something on social media apps."

"well... That's right," I replied

We spent our time together with no second be at a waste.

"Let's go back to the dorm??" I asked him, and he nods at me.

I went out first and grabbed a cab. I waited for him to go together; he must be meticulous so that no one can recognize him.

Thankfully he was unrecognizable with that hoodie, a hat, and a mask

"Did you get caught?" I lowered my face mask, and he said that no one recognized him even his fingers

He insisted on going to my dorm first before his. So as he told the driver, he noticed me slouching, and my head was slowly dropping; he put my head on his shoulder to make me feel comfortable.

"Thank you," I mumbled.

Sunoo's POV

She was slowly falling asleep as I noticed her head keeps on dropping, so I lend her my shoulder. I wish that I can always be by her side to protect her and make her feel happy about everything.

As we arrived in front of her building apartment, I told the driver to turn it around to the back door, and he did what I told him to do. Later on, I was about to wake her up, but I feel so happy looking at her sleep peacefully on my shoulder; she looks like an enchantress. I waited for her to wake up, and I told the driver that I will pay extra for his time.

She slowly opens her eyes and rubbed them. "Are we in my apartment building?" she said and yawned.

"Yeah~ Did you perhaps know when to wake up after sleeping in a cab or the driver need to wake you up?" I asked her and giggled

"I always know when to wake up," she laughed. "I don't need a driver to wake me up." 

"Go on in; your members are worried about you," I told her and looked at her watch. 

"You're right Byeol will nag me about getting home late," she said and sprinted into the building. After a while, she came back and said, "Goodbye... I had a fun night thanks to you" she smiled

JV's POV

I turn the knob slowly and entered the room. I felt so relieved that all the lights are off and thought the members are all sleeping. I tiptoed to my room, but suddenly a spotlight was lit, and I was caught red-handed.

"Why are you so late," Byeol asked as her hands were crossed

The lights were suddenly turned on, and every one of them was looking at me. Those eyes were lighted up with fire.

"Ohh, Hi... " I smiled. "I don't want to disturb you all, so I thought of keeping myself from making some noise" I smiled at them awkwardly.

"Are you sure? You're not hiding anything from us?" They asked

"Of course... It's not like I found a boy that will become a reason for me to be removed from the group... I just played a bit with the piano in the company. Don't misunderstand" I smiled

"If you did find a boy... hmmm... I am so happy for you," Jaemin said

"oh... I don't want to be in a scandal, and I became attached to every one of you. So I don't want to be the cause that our group will soon be disbanded." I told them 

They all came closer to me and offered a group hug. "I love you all," I told them, and we smiled at each other

"JV yahhh~~~~" They giggled

"why?"

"Actually... hmmm... we have a surprise for you," Mina said

"What is it?" I asked, and they just blindfolded me and led the way

"Our manager asked us to decorate something for you," Byeol said. "Since we know that you choreographed our Music Video and composed it... Here is our little present." 

They slowly removed my blindfold and 

Another studio next to our apartment. It is vast and beautiful. The theme was rose, quartz, and serenity; I recognized the ceiling, and it was like Seventeen-sunbaenim's "Fallin Flower MV.'' I was about to burst into tears, but they quickly hugged me

"Say NO to crying!" Bom said, "You deserve the best of the best, my dearest JV... We were all thankful that you joined us and offered us a great help." she said
