Chapter 20: New Couple Aces

"yahh.. Oppa we will be needing a lot of game play cards... I don't want to ride on his back for 10 seconds" I told him

We searched for game play cards but there's no one left to be seen.

"here's the plan" I told him "I'll be using you as a sacrifice... I am sorry for doing so... Hmmm... Pretend to run after me for my name tag and I will tell him that you are the man in Couple thieves"

"okay"

So I searched for Jongkook and I saw him on the 5th floor that's why I texted him that we will run from sixth floor to the fifth floor

We started running from the stairs and I acted as if I discovered the man in Couple Thieves

"Jongkook opa!! Help me!!" I shouted as I continously run "oppa!! Help me please!!!" I told him

He comes forward and I hid behind his back waiting for the right moment to hop on his back

"I discovered who the real Couple Thieves... I searched everywhere and the hints were all pointing at him" I told him "I am telling the truth... I will lend you my notes for real just please stop him from ripping off my name tag" I told him and lend my notebook to him

Sunghoon slows down and just smiled as he saw Jongkook in front of him

"You know when we were about to get the hint card in the first race?? He immediately ran to the PD and just gave a sentence. He didn't say the truth to me" I am persuading him

"If I would have known that you were a liar... I shouldn't have... Aigoo~ oppa help me please" I told him

As soon as he opened my notes. I took my chance since he was distracted on reading them. I jump to his back and lock my arms and my feet to him.

I just need to hold on for 10 seconds

It was 7 seconds remaining and other guys was assembling in the 5th floor

"oppa!!! Stop them!! Let us winnn!!!!" I shouted

"5, 4, 3"

Haha oppa came to me and was unclasping my tight grip from Jongkook oppa but I bit his hand when he approached my hands

"2, 1"

"The race is finally over"

I don't want to come down from Jongkook's back because it is a bit comfortable so I asked him for a request

"oppa... My feet cramped" I told him "I felt my feet is starting to get numbed"

"are you lying?" he said

Sunghoon immediately escorted me down from his back and massage my calf to my foot

"ohh... Yahh... Get an ice pack" Jongkook shouted and they immediately responded

"I suddenly got my feet cramped... Jongkook oppa is strong and it started there" I told them

"yahh... You won the race" they said

"I can lend you my back" Sunghoon said

"Today's episode is really an episode for shooting a drama" Se Chan said

I jumped on Sunghoon's back and we shoot for the last segment for today. He bring me down and he lends me his shoulder to hold on to

"The Couple Thieves win" as soon as he said that we acted normal and clapped.

They brought the prize out and it was a running Man gold ring. We immediately wore it and he said "We got married in running Man"

"yahhh!!! Don't say cheesy stuff😳" Se Chan said and I am turning red again

"JV is blushing" they said but I quickly denied to get out of suspicion

"But seriously... Are you taking acting classes?" Jongkook asked me and I told him that I did not

"I just used some of my skills because being a ballet dancer also requires emotions" I told them

The shooting ended and we took photos together and of course me and Sunghoon as we raised our running Man gold ring, make cute poses. Heart pose and a lot more.
I also take photos with Sunoo and Jaemin and all running Man members. I am a huge fan of them

"JV... Approved" Jongkook said and gave me a tap

"I totally fooled you there" I told him and he smiled

It is time to leave and Jaemin got in the car. It feels like it froze inside and was very awkward with each other

"Unnie... You don't like Sunghoon right?" she suddenly asked but she didn't give me time to answer her question "Because I like him... I like him ever since high-school. I was the only one he has when his ex-girlfriend broke his heart" she said

"Do you perhaps know who is her ex girlfriend?? I am just curious though" I replied because my hand froze. If she knows that I am her ex-girlfriend then I am ruined, our friendship is ruined.

"no... He didn't tell me anything about his past" she replied

"Don't worry... Today was just like a task that both of us must do and I don't like him, I just don't want to get involve with kpop stars" I told her

"You promised?" she said and bring her pinky finger out and I was hesitant at first but later on I just accepted it, so that our friendship will not be broken.

I received a text from Sunoo and he congratulated me again, and he wish us to go home safely with no injuries.

I told him to always be careful too.

I just hope Jaemin would not get a horable idea about my relationship with Sunghoon because I really don't want our friendship to end quickly as possible.
