Tom sat in the seven seas pub with his two best friends Jacob and William on either side of him. They were laughing at nothing in particular, the booze slightly taking its toll.

Afterwards, they had decided to walk through Hyde Park, William's idea. It was dark and they were the only ones there; they giggled and stumbled their way around.

They had just gotten to the pond when Jacob tripped over the air and fell to the ground. Tom and William started laughing like idiots as he got back up.

"I can't believe I let you idiots convince me to drink with you," Jacob said, a smile on his face as he stumbled over to his mates.

"Aw c'mon Jacob, lighten up," William said and Jacob rolled his eyes.

"I'm getting married tomorrow, I shouldn't get drunk the night before," He mumbled under his breath and Tom laughed.

He noticed that William didn't though, he had a deep frown on his face but when he saw Tom staring he forced a smile.

"It's your last night of freedom, of course, you should make the most of it," William said, wrapping one arm around Jacob's shoulder and leading him down the sidewalk. Tom would've followed him but he felt a shooting pain in his forehead and he had to sit down on the gravel as his vision started to disappear.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath until the pain went away. When he opened them again, he was met with silence. He couldn't see William or Jacob anymore. He stood up and looked around but he was the only one near the pond. He started walking in the direction that the two had gone and hoped he could catch up with them.

He had been walking for about ten minutes was just about to give up when he heard a branch snap then a thud to his right.

He walked off of the path and into a small clearing, his eyes widened at the horrid sight.

Jacob was on the ground, red soaking his white shirt, his eyes closed and above him...William was standing there, a bloody knife in his hand. Tom gasped and William immediately turned to face him. Before he knew it, William was lunging at Tom, the knife in his hand. Tom backed up and tried desperately to get away from him. Tom was able to catch his wrist before the knife pierced his skin, right over his heart.

"What the hell man?! What have you done?" Tom asked, looking into William's eyes.

"He was going to leave me-us. We'd be alone while he was married and having children," William said but Tom shook his head, still holding onto his wrist.

"He wasn't going to leave us, we still would've seen each other all the time. Is he...is he dead?" Tom's eyes watered and William didn't have to answer for him to know the truth. "What have you done?"

"We're all going to be together, Jacob, you, me, all of us in heaven together. No one will ever try to tear us apart," William said, his eyes watering. Tom pushed him backwards and he stumbled, falling down.

"You've gone mental," Tom said, shaking his head, "Nothing would ever tear us apart, we would always have been friends. But not now, now you've murdered our best friend," A tear rolled down Tom's face and William sighed.

"If you refuse to understand, we'll have to leave you behind," he said and drove the knife through his chest. His eyes widened and a smile came to his face. Tom rushed over to him, trying to stop the blood and not wanting to pull the knife out.

"No no no," he said, tears blurring his vision. His hands were covered in blood by the time he realized that William was dead. He stood up and backed away from his friends. His heartbeat raced and he couldn't stop the tears from falling.
