"We the jury, in the case of Tom Holland, find the defendant not guilty of the charge of the murder of Jacob Batalon and William Morris," He said and not a second later, cheering erupted in the court, Y/n stood up and wrapped her arms around Tom as he sat there stunned.

"You are free to go home, Mr Holland," The judge shouted, barely able to be heard over the people. Tom nodded, standing up and turning around he took Y/n's face in his hands and kissed her. There were louder cheers and Tom pulled away, smiling.

"It's time to see my family," he said and Y/n nodded.

"Let's go."

When Nikki Holland opened the front door she thought she was going to pass out. Her oldest son was standing there, a big smile on his face. He wrapped his arms around her as she sobbed into his chest.

Her crying alerted her sons and husband and they came to the front door.

Y/n almost started crying seeing all six Hollands in one giant group hug. Finally reunited.

Tom was the first to step back, motioning for Y/n to step forward as he introduced her.

"Guys, this is Y/n, she's the one who helped me while I was gone. I wouldn't be here if it were not for her," He said and Nikki immediately brought her into a bone-crushing hug.

"Thank you, dear, for everything. You've done this family a great service," She said.

"I should be thanking you. He's been amazing company these past few weeks," Y/n said as Nikki pulled away.

"Just company?" Tom whispered into her ear and Y/n blushed.

"Mum, Dad, I want to marry Y/n," he said, surprising everyone, even Y/n. He looked over at her, panic coming to his face when he saw her expression. "If that's what you want?" He asked and she nodded her head.

"Yes. More than anything," She said a smile on her face which Tom reciprocated. His family's shocked faces eventually turned into those of happiness as they congratulated the two. Tom's father, Dom, patted him on the back.

"It's good to have you home, son."

1 Year Later

Y/n took a deep breath as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Today was the day that she was marrying Tom and she couldn't be happier.

They were going to be married on the Harlaxton grounds, her father's final gift making her a duchess before he had passed six months ago. Claire hadn't been too thrilled but there was nothing that she could do.

As Y/n took another deep breath there was a knock on the door and Marian walked in.

"Your Grace, the ceremony is about to start," She said and Y/n nodded.

"Alright, I'm ready," She said walking towards the door as Marian held it open for her.

"Are you sure you don't want anyone to walk you down the aisle?" She asked and Y/n shook her head.

"I'll give myself away," She said not taking her eyes off of the big windows that overlooked the many chairs that were set up for the ceremony.

"I couldn't imagine it any other way, your grace," Marian said and Y/n gave her a big smile as she stood in front of the doors that led to the garden.

As soon as Y/n was ready, she opened the doors and walked slowly out. The small orchestra played a soft melody as everyone stood up. Dozens of people were there but Y/n only saw Tom and vice-versa, all his attention was on her.

She walked herself down the aisle and Tom held his hand out to her as she approached him.

"You look beautiful," He whispered in her ear and she blushed.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Thomas Holland and Y/n L/n. If anyone objects speak now or forever hold your peace," the pastor said and paused for a moment. (I'm just speeding this up).

"Do you, Thomas Holland, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health 'till death do you part?" he said, turning to Tom.

"I do," he said and the pastor nodded, turning to Y/n.

"Do you, Y/n L/n, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, 'till death do you part?"

"I do,"

"Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife you-" Tom didn't let the man finish before he was leaning in and kissing Y/n.

The crowd cheered as they walked down the aisle.

From a wanted criminal to a stable boy, and finally, to a duke. Tom couldn't have been happier than at this moment. His new wife by his side and his family with him.

The people cheered around them, dozens applauding the newlywed. Multiple people patted Tom on the back.

But he only saw her.
