It had been a couple of weeks since JJ had been born and in that time Dylan and Scott were able to finish restoring the farmhouse, and Dylan was even able to fix up and old Jeep he had found just outside Jackson.
The day had come for Dina to finally see the farmhouse. Dylan escorted the girls to the stables and then shook his head as he looked at the horses.
"What's wrong?" Maddie asked her boyfriend.
"This won't do. I'll be back in a minute." Dylan replied as he pecked Maddie's lips and ran off down the street.
Ellie and Dina looked to each other confused and then looked to Maddie for an explanation for Dylan's disappearance.
"Everything okay?" Dina asked as she held JJ in her arms.
"I don't know. He said that the horses won't do." Maddie answered as she shrugged her shoulders.
"We always use the horses to get around. So, what's the problem?" Ellie asked.
Maddie shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. Ellie huffed and looked around seeing no sign of her brother.
"You know what...let's mount up. Dylan can catch up with us." Ellie said as she mounted her horse.
Suddenly, the girls heard a car horn sounding from behind them. The girls looked back and shook their heads as they saw the driver and the wolf in the backseat.

Dylan pulled up beside the girls and smiled, "You didn't think you were gonna do this without me, did ya?"
Ellie smiled and shook her head at her brother as she dismounted her horse.
"Okay, Dina and JJ up front, Ellie and Maddie can ride in the back with Fang." Dylan informed.
The girls got into the car and buckled their seatbelts.
"Okay, everyone got their seatbelts on. Smile on my son's face...yep." Dylan kissed JJ's forehead, "Okay, we're ready to go."
