Ellie had just finished cleaning up Dylan's face. He had a black eye, bruised face and a split fat lip.

Dylan and Ellie changed into more comfortable clothes as they waited for Joel to return home. The twins were playing video games, when they heard the sounds of a guitar being played from outside.
"I guess Joel's home. We gonna do this?" Dylan asked Ellie.
"Yeah, but I'm not gonna hold back. I'm gonna speak my mind." Ellie replied.
"When don't you hold back or speak your mind." Dylan smirked.
Ellie smiled at her brother. The pair grabbed their coats and exited their home. They walked out to Joel's back porch, seeing him playing his guitar.

Dylan and Ellie stepped onto Joel's porch, catching Joel's attention.
"Hey." Joel greeted.
Joel placed his guitar down beside him as Ellie moved to stand by the railing of the porch. Dylan decided to sit on the chair behind them, allowing them to talk things out. What Ellie didn't know is Dylan had moved on from the past and had forgiven Joel for his decision, not that Joel knew that, but he knew that for Ellie it was personal and that Joel's decision had hurt her deeply. Joel moved to stand beside Ellie as he drank his coffee.
"What're you drinking?" Ellie asked.
"Coffee." Joel replied as he leant on the railing and sipped on his drink.
"Where'd you get that?" Ellie asked, curious.
"Uh, those people that came through last week." Joel answered.
"Oh." Ellie replied.
"A little embarrassed as to what I had to trade to get it, but...it's not bad." Joel said before he took another sip.
