After Lonnie left Jordan and Jay,
"Ugh that jerk, how dare he flirt with Jordan right in front of me, making me seem invisible to Jordan" Lonnie kept talking to herself as she walked to biology class.
She spotted Jane and Carlos and went to join them.
"Hey" Jane and Carlos greeted Lonnie.
"Hi so where are you guys headed?" Lonnie asked them
"Oh yeah we are going to try out. I'm trying out for the cheerleaders, and he's trying out for the tourney team." Jane explained.
"Mind if I tag along?" Lonnie asked.
"Well of course sure, let's go" Jane said happily.
Carlos just shrugged his shoulder as they walked to the tourney field.
"So Carlos you want to try out for the team huh?" Lonnie started a conversation with him
"Yeah" Carlos replied.
"How about you? Are you going to try out?" Carlos asked her
Jane and Lonnie started laughing.
"Me a cheerleader, so I can start acting all prissy and start wearing baby pink everyday? Nah no way" Lonnie answered.
"No I meant tourney, I saw you beat Jay at basketball, you are really good. You should try out" Carlos said.
Lonnie's face lit up she smiled as Jane smiled too.
"Wow I guess you VKs don't ever discriminate huh" Lonnie said
"Are you kidding me, on the isle girls are actually more dominant and scary." Carlos said
"Yeah well in Auradon they don't let girls try out." Jane explained
"Oh so you have already tried before?"
"Well I tried to try" Lonnie said plainly
"Well you can come try with me right now" Carlos said.
"I knew I'd like you when I first saw you, you are really nice." Lonnie said smiling
"Jane I'm so glad you are finally trying out for the cheerleading team. I'm so happy for you" Lonnie said as she squealed.
"I just hope I get in" Jane said a bit nervous
"Of course you were their mascot it would be just like a promotion. When you are done just call me." Lonnie said to Jane.
"Where are you going?" Jane asked Lonnie.
"Well I'm going to try out with Carlos" Lonnie answered.
"Ok then bye Carlos, Lonnie" Jane said as she went to try out.
"So you and Jane seem to be getting along pretty perfectly" Lonnie said as she wiggled her eyebrows
"I swear you act just like him I can't see why you guys don't get along" Carlos said
"Who Jay? We act nothing alike he's a jerk and an idiot, and don't go changing the subject" Lonnie said
"Yeah she's really nice, the nicest person I've ever met" Carlos said with a smile.
"Yeah and sweet she's an angel isn't she" Lonnie said
"Yeah" Carlos answered.
They reached the tourney field. With every step Lonnie's heart beat became louder.
Everyone started staring at the white haired boy coming with a girl.
Jay looked and saw Carlos with the girl he has been trying to win over.
