Early mornings where always peaceful ones. The bright, yellow burning sun that's rays beamed through white fluffy clouds, creating a pinkish purple; cotton candy hue that blended into the cerulean blue sky. The birds chirped their morning song as many awoke to start their day.

People waking up to head to their jobs, saying goodbye to their loved ones as they headed off and started their long day.

Mornings were always the most peaceful.

One of the many people starting their day was 17 year old, Gon freecss.

He started his day off pretty simple, getting dressed in his school uniform, fixing his black-green hair, and making himself an egg sandwich for breakfast. Gathering his belongings, than locking his house door before walking his typical route to school.

Gon freecss was a second year student at H.A.L.I or Hunter Academy learning institution. Gon wanted to attend badly so he begged his aunt, and with enough persuasion, she agreed since it is one of the most prestigious schools. It was expensive but Gon promised he wouldn't disappoint.

He lived up to his aunt's and school's expectations; achieving honor roll within the first half of his first year and became one of the highest  ranking students in his grade since then. He sent his grades off to his aunt every week to let her know how he's been doing and that her money isn't going to waste.

He also participated in other extracurricular activities; his aunt suggested sports, but he was more into the fine arts, and his aunt accepted since he was doing well academically, she didn't mind if he did something liked.

He joined the art club and took piano lessons. He wanted  to make his aunt proud, so he thought he could at least do track and field events. It was a lot to maintain and balance, but he made it work.

Although he didn't want to go to that school specifically for the  academics or the extracurricular activities.

To many students, Gon was a silent nerd who kept to himself, played the piano, and liked art...but not everyone is an open book.

Gon had a crush, but not just any crush...he liked one of the most well-known, calm, and kind-hearted 3rd year students; Killua Zoldyck.

Killua Zoldyck was also a high ranking student, one of the highest in the third years. He was also a star soccer player and was president of the photography club. He was known as the schools gem, no one could ever hate him or say anything bad about him. The teachers adored him and he helped the school, since his family was incredibly wealthy, they funded the school immensely.

He also unknowingly held the heart of Gon Freecss.

When Gon would arrive early to school, along with some other students, he would immediately go to his locker to prepare for the day, but it was always with a purpose; it was one of the only times he'd get to see the tall, pale haired boy before the start of class.

Since Killua was a 3rd year student, his classes were on the third floor of the school, meaning Gon would would only see him early in the day, maybe at lunch, and maybe after school. Gon knew the older boy's typical route so he could steal a glance before departing to his own classroom.

Gon would drop his belongings off, gather his books, and hurriedly make his way to the staircase the sapphire eyed boy would always use.

Gon was incredibly stealthy, almost invisible at times. To even get a glance from the older boy would've sent him to the stars, but it never happened. He was happy to just to just admire from afar.

He waited for a few minutes, hiding behind a corner before he heard the familiar voice pass through out the slightly busy hallways. Gon quickly turned and watched with hearts and stars in his eyes.

Killua walked with such a smooth stride, looking perfect almost effortlessly; his pale skin, snow like hair that contrasted his sapphire blue eyes, his light pink plush lips that framed his small cat like smile. Killua Zoldyck was the embodiment of perfection himself and Gon was completely taken by it.

The smaller black green haired boy watched as his love chatted with a fellow student about something. "Kil" he whispered under his breath, wishing he could say that to the elder himself. He watched as they walked towards his direction, his heart beating fast seeing how close he was to him, but than immediately fell into disappointment when the pair turned towards the staircase...but he couldn't help but notice another student not to far from him, learning against a locker, looking at his love longingly.

Killua and the other irrelevant student left his sight as they continued up the stairs, but his stare never left the small boy that was looking at Killua.

Gon couldn't help but feel something stir inside him and soon felt his eye twitch...he didn't like it when anyone looked at his Killua

He didn't like it one bit.
