"THEY SHOULD BE HERE BY NOW! I KNEW I SHOULD'VE COME ALONG." paris sighed, pacing up and down the burrow.

"they'll be okay." ginny assured. "keep your voice down or you'll make mum worry."

"i wanted to come along but uncle said—" she huffed, deciding against cursing out her uncle and instead taking a deep breath. "—you're right. let me just breathe for a moment."

"you're worried about hermione, aren't you?"

"i'm worried about all of them! but, yes, i am significantly worried about her..." she shook her head, irritated.

there was a large thump, and molly came rushing out of the kitchen— paris and ginny following her out of the house.

"harry! hagrid!" mrs weasley called, as they approached the two who were soaking wet and shaken up. "what happened?"

"where are the others?" paris asked.

"is no one else back?" harry frowned, concerned.

"they were on us right from the start, molly. we didn't stand a chance." hagrid explained.

"well, thank goodness you two are alright."

"harry." paris greeted her friend as hagrid and mrs weasley wandered into the house. "have you seen hermione? do you know if she's alright? what about my uncle is he?"

"ron and tonks should've already been back." ginny sighed. "dad and fred aswell."

paris bit on her lip nervously, until there was a large thunder crack, and she looked up hastily to check if it was hermione or mercutio, but instead it was lupin and george. george, who was bleeding out at his left ear— crimson blood trickling down his neck.
