"god you suffocate me!"
his words pierced through me like a freshly sharpened knife. my worst fears were coming true.
"please you know i don't like it when you raise your voice."
his eyes softened but his jaw stayed tightly clenched. "don't. i'm done. i need a break."
i felt myself shatter. it was causing me physical pain to hear these words. "v what? no no you don't mean that we can fix this." "stop. sometimes things don't work out." i felt the tears building up. "b-but i love you... this can't end...v? please..."
he looked away. he was far gone. it was almost like i felt him leave the room. there was no getting through to him. "god damn it...fine." rage replaced my sadness but the tears stayed. i took one last good look at him before walking out of the door. completely broken.
~vinnies pov~ hours later
i was up in bed not being able to get my mind off of what i did today. i acted out of anger. i didn't mean what i said. i loved her so much i needed to get her back.
i sat up and picked up my phone.
an hour later and no answer. what the fuck was she doing? i knew damn well she wasn't asleep it was early for her. i waited.
