Much to Fred and I's dismay Christmas break went by quickly, we returned back to Kings Cross, we said our goodbyes to Molly and Arthur before Fred grabbed my trunk following the trio and George onto the train. All of us sat together in a compartment. As the train pulled away from the station I got comfortable laying my head on Fred's shoulder his hand resting on my knee, his fingers drawing shapes.

"Can someone explain to me that after 5 months of Indie and Fred knowing each other they are a couple but Ron refuses to acknowledge his feelings for Herms?!" George questioned, Ron kicked his brother from the seat across the room.

"Honestly G, I can thank no one but your mum." I chuckled.

"Molly Weasley really does make miracles happen doesn't she?" Hermione smiled and looked at Fred and I.

"That she does." Fred smiled giving my leg a squeeze.

"Harry have you thought more about the second task?" I asked, his nose shoved in a book.

"No idea. Anytime it's opened it screeches."

"I can read on it when we get back to school, maybe I can help you figure something out." I nodded. "The task is next week."

"Thanks Indie, I appreciate it." Harry nodded.

I pulled my knees up to my chest and closed my eyes hoping to get some sleep the rest of the trip back.

I sat in Defense against the Dark Arts the next day, Moody sat in the front of the room everyone writing out the essay we were assigned. Draco sat in front of me mumbling about lord knows what from Christmas break.

"You all may be excused." Moody spoke up. "Evans, please stay back a moment I need to speak with you."

I gathered my books into my bag and stayed seats until everyone left, I walked to the front of the room keeping a few feet and a desk between me and the scary looking man.

"Has your cousin figured out the second task?"

"No sir, we were going to work on figuring it out." I responded.

"Water."

"What?"

"He needs to submerge it within water. You'll tell him won't you?"

"I.. yeah I can." I nodded. "I have to get to class Professor."

He waved me away and I walked into the hall, Fred waiting for me.

"Evans." He smiled kissing my head as I approached him.

"Weasley." I nodded. "I do have to say I hope I don't only get forehead kisses now that we're back at school."

"Oh, absolutely not." He grinned leaning down and kissing me softly. "Just gotta make sure I don't get this pretty little face of yours in trouble."

"I can hold my own you git."

"Sure ya can Evans."

I rolled my eyes and huffed turning on my heels and walked towards my next class.

"Have you seen Harry? I need to talk to him about the second task."

"Um last I saw he was heading to potions."

"Thanks Freddie." I nodded and kissed him quickly before running that direction, I caught Harry just before he walked into class, he stumbled over his feet as I pulled him back.

"Lord Indie what the hell are you doing?"

"Water.. water will help you get the clue." I panted. "Wow, I'm really out of shape." I added.

"Water?"

"I nodded, try getting it wet, I don't really know for sure but water will help."

"Thanks?" He questioned confused by my words. "How did you?"

"Don't ask questions just let me know if it works, yeah?"

He nodded and walked into class, I headed back towards the Slytherin common room.

"You're late for class Miss Evans." Spoke a voice in my ear.

"I could say the same for you Weasley, you saw me like 15 minutes ago. Miss me already?"

"I could be right next to you and I miss you." He chuckled. "Not going to class?"

"I figured I could skip this one, I wanted to read up on the second clue. Wanna join me?" I asked

"Library?"

"Not quite, come on." I smiled taking his hand pulling him with me. We made it to the dungeons without being seen, I whispered the password before the entrance to the common room opened up the room deserted.  I pulled him in with me and to my room quickly. I opened the door motioning him inside before closing it behind us and locking it.

"These rooms look sad." He chuckled looking around at the decorations, a few photos of me from my old school on my dresser. "Do you miss it?" He asked holding up a photo.

"Miss public school? I'd be lying if I said no, that was the one place I was someone other than Dudleys sister, and I was able to play soccer, I miss soccer."

"I assume that's what you are doing in this picture?"

I nodded and set my books on my desk walking back to him.

"This is me, and my friend Sam, I haven't talked to her since last august, b-before I left."

"You miss her?"

I nodded and wrapped my arm around his waist his hand rubbing my arm.

"How do you think she'd react if you told her about your magic?" He asked

"Honestly, she'd probably think it's cool." I shrugged.

He chuckled and set the picture back down turning back to me. "Your own room? How did you swing that?"

"Dunno, maybe no one wants to room with a mudblood." I shrugged.

"You know you aren't a bad person right? Being muggle born doesn't mean anything.."

"I know, I can't change who I am as much as I wish I could."

"I don't think you need to change anything." He said quietly and pulled me into a hug.

"Thanks Fred." I smiled and pecked his cheek before I walked over to my bed, I sat down patting the spot next to me. I laid my back against the headboard and pulled out my book I got from the library. Fred walked over taking his school robe off before laying on the bed, he moved to lay between my legs his head resting on my stomach. I watched him wiggle around to get comfortable before I ran my free hand through his hair, he groaned as my fingers massaged his scalp. He closed his eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.

I read through the book no luck finding any new information on the egg before I set it on the night stand careful not to wake the sleeping boy on my lap.
