"Hey y/n!" Your boyfriend called rushing into your shared apartment and tossing his keys onto the counter.
"What's up Pete?" You ask turning around from the fridge to face the happy boy.
"We are going on a trip!" He cheered with excitement.

"Peter we don't have the money for a huge trip" you tell him as you wrap your arms around his neck.
"Really? Says the daughter of billionaire, Tony Stark" he laughed. "And we don't need to worry about any money because we are going on a free trip!" He cheered once again causing you to pull back with a questioning eyebrow.
"What are you planning Peter?"
"Just a trip back home for my beautiful girlfriend." Peter smiled proudly.
"Home?" You questioned, bursting with excitement as you pull him in for a tight hug.
"Okay go pack your bags we leave in an hour"

"So what do you miss most from being home?" Peter asked looking over at you for a moment as he drove.
"When I was six years old, I broke my leg. I was running from Pietro and Vision. And felt the green grass as I rolled down. I was younger then" you smile at the memories you tell Peter.
"Take me back to when I found my heart and broke it here, made friends and lost them through the years" Peter remembers the death of his fellow teammates sadly.

"And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long, I know I've grown, but I can't wait to go home. I'm on my way, driving at 90 down those country lanes, singing to AC/DC" you laugh next to your boyfriend driving towards the avengers compound.
"And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real, when we watched the sunset over the compound on the hill" he remembered back to your first date at the compound because your dad wouldn't let him take you out anywhere else without a chaperone.
