Peter was worried. It had only been a few weeks since The Vulture had been put in prison for his crimes, and yet there was already news he had escaped. He was constantly looking behind his shoulders, watching out, and listening to everything his Spidey Senses warned him of. Of course Flash's bullying wasn't helping.

" Hey Penis! Have you heard the rumors?" Flash asked snidely. Peter rolled his eyes and sighed internally. He turned to Flash.

" No? What rumors?" Peter asked, though he really just wanted to get to his next class.

" The field trip is probably going to be to the Stark Tower! That means we'll all know you're faking the internship. There's no way you of all people have an internship at Stark Industries," Flash snarled. Peter sighed, for real this time.

" Flash those are just rumors. Leave me alone to get to my next class, I don't feel like being late," Peter snapped. Oops. Flash snarled.

" What'd you say to me, Penis?" Flash demanded. Peter gulped. He hated this. Even though he could probably beat Flash in any fight, he couldn't reveal who he was. Not even if it meant Flash stopped bullying him. Nice going, Parker. Now you're going to be late, Peter scolded himself.

Flash punched him in the face, hard. There was an audible crack as his nose broke. He punched Peter in the stomach, making him double over, surprising him. Flash kicked his knee, bringing him down. He grabbed Peter by the throat and threw him to the ground, finally walking away when the tardy bell rang. Great, Peter thought sarcastically.

Peter coughed, struggling to stand. He held a hand to his nose and headed to the bathroom. He couldn't head to his next class like this. He walked into the bathroom, set his backpack down and grabbed a couple pieces of paper towel. He wet it under the water and started wiping off the blood. His stomach still ached a little, but thanks to his enhanced healing abilities, it didn't hurt nearly as much as it should. He could almost feel his nose mending already. Peter almost smiled. It felt good, knowing his injuries were already healing.

Peter checked his reflection in the mirror. There wasn't any blood anymore, and you couldn't really even tell that his nose had been broken only minutes ago. His leg and stomach were better, and Peter walked out of the bathroom feeling pretty okay.

Peter walked into his last class of the day. Which also happened to be the class that was taking the field trip. The teacher was welcoming the class, and Peter couldn't help but zone out.

"-field trip to a science museum!" Peter caught on to those words. He sighed in relief, glad to know that the field trip wasn't to Stark Tower after all. He was too good of friends with the Avengers that they would embarrass him, no doubt about it. So as sad as everyone else was, Peter was thanking whatever deity decided it wasn't his time to die by embarrassment yet. Yet. He lives with the Avengers, come on!

" The field trip will be on Friday, so make sure to turn in your slips by then!" The teacher announced.

cue another time skip because someone *cough cough* is clueless on what to write

Friday came way too fast. Yeah, field trips were rare and pretty exciting most of the time, but Peter was nervous. There still hadn't been any sightings on Toomes, so Peter really didn't want to go somewhere he wouldn't know the way around, therefore not being able to escape if something were to happen.
