Hi everyone! This one was requested by @godidontknowatall! Hope you guys enjoy! Also thanks for 10.8K reads! I was excited the first time I got a hundred more reads in a day, and now I'm getting a couple hundred overnight, so thank you guys so much!

" Tony, truth or dare?" Clint asked. It was midnight and no one could sleep, so they had decided to get some food and play truth or dare to pass the time. Tony thought for a bit.

" Truth," he answered finally. Clint looked stumped on what to ask, but it didn't last long.

" What do you think of Spider-Man?" Clint asked, a look of disgust on his face just saying the name. Tony made an expression of equal disgust.

" Ugh, he's definitely not helpful. A menace, if you want to go that far," Tony said angrily. Clint nodded, agreeing, as did everyone else. Except Wanda.

" Well you shouldn't judge someone before you see what goes on in their head," she said. Tony rolled his eyes.

" Okay then, next time we see him, if ever, you go into his head and see what's up," Tony said. Wanda shrugged. Why not?

The next day, the Avengers were wandering around, drinking their smoothies they had just gotten. They were chatting aimlessly, but also trying to stay hidden. They didn't want random people coming up to them and begging for autographs and selfies. But suddenly, Spider-Man swung right past them, on his way to help someone who'd been screaming. Spider-Man wasn't their concern right then and there, it was the person who was screaming.

The Avengers got to the alley quickly, and were just in time to see Spider-Man webbing up a criminal and making sure the girl who'd screamed was okay.

" Hey, are you okay?" He asked. The girl nodded and gave him a hug. Spider-Man said a few more words to her that they couldn't hear, and she nodded, smiling. She ran off to find her mom. Spider-Man was about to take off, but Wanda held him down. She did a quick scan of his mind before letting him go.

" What the hell?" He demanded.

" We needed to know who you are," Tony said simply. Spider-Man narrowed his eyes, but shrugged it off.

" Hey, before you go, I know stuff like this gets you hurt. You ever get hurt too bad, come to the tower, top floor, we'll be there to patch you up," Tony said. Spider-Man nodded and swung away.

" Why'd you do that?" Clint asked curiously. Tony shrugged.

" So that we can learn more about him," Tony said. The team started walking back to the tower.

---

" So, what did you find Wanda?" Natasha asked. Wanda sighed and massaged the bridge of her nose.

" He's a kid. Sixteen to be exact. His parents are dead, as well as his uncle, and his aunt works constantly to make ends meet. He's just doing what he does to make life better for everyone he can, even though life isn't great for him," Wanda said sadly. Tony paled and was shocked.

" Jesus Christ, never thought about that," Tony said. The team nodded, agreeing.

That night, as the Avengers were watching a movie, someone came crashing in through the window. Spider-Man. The team was instantly on their feet and rushing over to help.

" I'm sorry, I wouldn't have come to bother you, but it really hurts," Spider-Man said, panting. They could make out his face, since the mask had been burnt off. Bruce was called in and Spider-Man was dragged to the med-bay.

" What happened?" Bruce asked.

" There was a guy trying to set a building on fire. He shot me like, four times, and cut up my arm pretty damn good too before setting the building on fire. I ran in, getting everyone out, but I was in there too long, got burnt," Spider-Man said. Bruce nodded. He instantly got to work healing the teen.

" What's your name?" Bruce asked. The boy grunted.

" Peter. Peter Parker," Peter said. Bruce smiled as he worked. The boy seemed kind.

Soon afterwards, Bruce had Peter patched up, and he was ready to leave the med-bay.

" Hey kid! How are you?" Clint asked, slinging an arm around Peter's shoulders as he walked onto the common floor. Peter shrugged.

" Sore, but not nearly as bad as when I came crashing through the window. Sorry about that by the way," Peter said sheepishly. Tony waved it off.

" Don't worry about it. My clean up guys needed something to do anyways," Tony said, chuckling. While they were conversing, Thor was silently coming up with a plan. A test to see how good this Midgardian truly is.

They were all chilling on the couches, when Thor spoke up.

" Child," he said, gesturing towards Peter. Peter looked at him, confused.

" Could you bring me my hammer?" He asked kindly. Peter shrugged and got up. The team was confused for a second, then caught on to what Thor was doing. They smirked at each other, and turned to see if Peter was able to lift Mjolnir.

Peter lifted it easily, flipping it in the air once or twice and catching it by the handle quite easily. The team struggled to hide their shock.

" Here you go, Thor," Peter said, handing Thor his hammer. Peter sat back down and resumed the conversation he'd been having with Wanda.

---

The team was winding down and getting ready for bed.

" Hey, we were gonna hit the sack, you staying or you gotta get home?" Clint called. Peter winced at the mention of home and responded.

" Is it alright if I stay here?" Peter asked. Tony nodded.

" How come you don't want to go home?" He asked, curious. Wanda kicked his shin and scowled at him. Peter rubbed the back of his neck self consciously.

" Um, my aunt doesn't deal with her grief in the best ways," Peter muttered. Tony nodded, instantly understanding. Wanda was still pissed that he'd asked.

" Where do you wanna sleep?" Clint asked. Peter shrugged.

" Ceiling," Peter said. With that he jumped up and laid down on the ceiling.

" Night," Peter called. The team shook it off, too tired to think much of it. They decided to crash in the common room so Peter didn't sleep alone.
