I carved my love on a piece of paper,
And binded it to my heart,
I wrote my hopes and my joys on that letter,
Praying that nothing will keep us apart.

I sew my fears and worries into that letter,
To show you that my trust is yours.
I painted my songs unto that note,
I'll make sure that our love endures.

I placed my handprint on the letter,
To tell you that I'll always be there.
To show you that you're mine forever,
And to tell you that I care.

I sealed that letter with my tears,
With blessings from above.
I wrote my name in dark red ink,
You'll always be my beloved.

I put my signature on that letter,
And sent it away with a dove.
So until we meet, I'll keep writing letters,
To my non-existent love.
