Does the cold, empty silence make you shiver?
Does it?

Because I chose not to distinguish the pain,
it kindly diagnosed itself for me.
And I don't like the fact,
that it learned to diagnose before it knew how to cause.

Pay attention to the sadness,
that look in her eyes,
Of heart break and searing hurt,
The feeling of the world on her shoulders.

I saw a faint glimpse of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned them.
For they knew nothing better,
They never knew love, and so they never loved.

Do you believe that the agony is little?
The agony of losing the one thing that mattered to you the most?
Because I could not cause for Pain,
it did kindly cause for me.

Does the pain make you shiver?
Does it?
