What is it to have two loves?
Can a person love the first as the second.

No, for it is better to love the second,
For if you loved the first,
There would never be a choice.

But what is it to lust after love?
To want something that is nearly in your grasp,
But still unattainable.

For one-night stands are simply that,
A one time thing.

But with feelings come more than lust,
What you make of those feelings and do with them,
Is still up to you.

Will you allow your heart to be broken into two pieces?
One for each to keep as their own treasure.

A gift that never be given again.
And what they do with your trust and heart,
Is entirely up to them.

Will you risk it?
The exposure of your feelings which you've locked away?
To the very person who can break them.

Who holds you heart in their hands,
But never knew it.
