I gave you my heart,
Wrapped up in a prefect box,
Complete with a kiss and a pretty little bow.

You took it and crushed it,
Like a delicate crystal in the snow.

I gave you my trust,
Even though I had my doubts,
But you didn't see the value of it.

You threw it away,
And called me unfit.

Unfit to be the one,
That deserved your love.
Though I proved it time and time again.

But one can only take so much,
From manipulating men.

I gave you my all,
Yet you left me in the dust,
When I needed you most.

You disregarded my feelings,
And burned my love and left me lost.

But you forgot that I had two feet of my own,
I held my own on unsteady ground.
You took my trust and stole my love.

Because you couldn't handle the pressure
When push came to shove.
