I was now back at mine. Everything was checked first for trackers but eventually i left work. My feet walked me down the corridors and i unlocked all of the locks on my door. The door swung open to find Maria and Bucky sat on my couch watching Tv. I locked my door again and threw my bag down before walking into the kitchen part of the apartment.

"Hey doll" Bucky greeted

"Hey Kat" Maria waved while still looking at the Tv

"Barnes, Hill"

"Rough day?" Maria stated

"I want to slit Pierces throat to say the least"

"That's a bit horrific but understandable" Maria smirked

"Who's Pierce?" Bucky asked cocking his head

"The guy that wants you" Maria informed

"Doesn't he know where you live?" Bucky questioned while furrowing his eyebrows

"No, i refused to give him or shield my address"

"Wise" Maria nodded

"Fury's just as pissed"

"I don't blame him, his team is being bothered" Maria shrugged

"God i just wanna-"

I threw my beer i had at the wall. Probably not wise but i always did it when i was mad. Maria and Bucky flinched back as i sighed.

"Sorry, didn't mean to do that"

The two didn't say a word. They looked scared almost. I got the brush and started to sweep it up. The glass had all been cleaned before i chucked it into the bin. This man frustrated me to another level and personally i could kill him without remorse.

"Okay let's calm down a bit" Maria suggested

"You can go now if you want, i'll watch Barnes"

"I'll stay and watch him. Go shower and calm down" Maria insisted

I nodded at the woman before making my way further into the apartment. I showered quickly and got changed before heading back out into the living room. They were still in their original spots so i joined them. The two looked at me hesitantly and i sighed.

"I didn't mean to freak you both out"

"It's fine doll, we understand you're mad" Bucky nodded

"We'll figure it out Kat" Maria stated with a small smile

"Hopefully"

The three of us watched Tv for a while. Well i say watched the Tv but i could barely keep my eyes off Maria. She just.. looked cute?? I mean i wasn't really the type for crushes and relationships but this woman was killing me. I only flirted with her for jokes but why do i now feel something. Anyway she caught my gaze and i instantly turned around. Bucky was watching this interaction and a smirk was soon plastered on his face like he knew my secret.

It was a weird night to say the least. I insisted for Maria to go because she had to sleep but she refused and said she would stay to watch while i slept. I gave her a blanket and pillow for the couch just in case.

It wasn't until the next morning i found her asleep on the couch. Maria looked like an angel. I checked on Bucky who was in my guest room and he was still snoring away. I made my way into the kitchen and started on the coffee.

"Morning" A voice came from the doorway

"Hey hot stuff, sleep well?"

"Yeah, your couch is very comfortable" Maria chuckled

"I hope so"

Maria smiled and proceeded to pour herself a cup of coffee. I watched as she sleepily moved around. Bucky then walked in and repeated Maria's actions after greeting us both.

"So who's here today?" Bucky asked as he sipped his drink

"Me" Maria nodded

"Sorry but you gotta endure her again"

"Rude" Maria pouted

"I'm joking babe, you're alright"

"Yes she is, isn't she?" Bucky smirked at me

"Okay well i have to get ready for work now so"

I nodded at the two and walked back to my room. My work clothes were put on along with my boots and i continued down the hall to where the two were sat. They both looked me over, one more intently than the other, but i just shrugged it off knowing her gaze probably meant nothing.

Some things were explained and my journey to my job was started. I had to compose myself of any pissed off feelings i had before walking in knowing probably half the people i work with are Hydra. I greeted a few people as i walked to my office. I opened the door and there was Fury sat at my desk.

"For god sake"

"Nice to see you too" Fury smiled sarcastically as i closed the door

"What do you want?"

"Why are you so grouchy?" Fury asked

"Many reasons Nick"

"Please do enlighten me" Fury suggested

"Firstly, i want to kill a few people. Secondly, i want to kill a few more people and Thirdly, there's a cute woman in my home that i'm trying not to scare away by throwing anymore bottles at the wall"

"Anymore?" Fury shrieked

"I threw a beer at the wall yesterday, no biggie"

"And cute woman?" Fury smirked

"Why are you here?"

"Just thought i'd check up on you, you seemed annoyed yesterday" Fury shrugged

"Hence the beer"

"I understand now" Fury commented while rolling his eyes

"Can't i just to kill him? That would make everyone's lives so much better"

"It's illegal" Fury replied raising an eyebrow

"So?"

"You scare me sometimes" Fury added

"I get that a lot"

"Yes, i can tell" Fury chuckled

"Any missions come up?"

"Yes actually, i want you to lead it" Fury informed

"Sure, who am i leading?"

"Romanoff, Hill, Coulson and Wilson. Rogers is going to stay with Barnes" Fury replied

"Oh great"

"Lighten up Kat" Fury smirked

"What's the mission?"

"Infiltrating another Hydra base" Fury shrugged

"So the usual?"

"Nope, it's an important base" Fury winked

"Right okay, now out my chair"

"Your chair?" Fury scoffed

"Yes, now move it before i force you"

Fury looked at me with a surprised look but to be honest, he shouldn't have been that surprised. He knows how i am with my chair. Fury got up and switched places with me so he was now by the door while i was in my chair.

"So,  i'm guessing this cute woman is Hill?" Fury smirked once again

"Goodbye Director"

"Pretty sure she's gay as well" Fury winked

"And? I don't like her"

"Sure you don't" Fury smirked

"Goodbye again, Director"

"Goodbye Agent Romanoff" Fury laughed as he walked out

Okay so maybe he was right?
