'Twas the next day. I woke up and groaned quietly at the pain in my stomach from the steering wheel but soon realised my position. I was face down in the pillow with my arm over Bucky who was awake and reading. I looked up and brushed the hair out of my face before looking over at him. Bucky didn't move my arm or wake me up, he kept it there and was running his metal finger up and down.

"Morning Buckaroo"

"Morning doll, you okay?" Bucky asked

"Yeah fine, you?"

"I'm good" Bucky nodded

He continued to read his book as i buried my head back in the pillow.

"What time is it?"

"What?" Bucky asked

I lifted my head from the pillow and looked up at him.

"Time?"

"Like ten" Bucky shrugged

"Great"

"Got somewhere to be?" Bucky smirked

"Sadly not, i have to stay with you"

"I'm not that bad" Bucky pouted

"You're alright i guess"

"Thanks Kat" Bucky laughed

"I'm gonna go look for Laura, you coming?"

"I'll be down in a bit" Bucky smiled

"Cool beans old man"

Bucky laughed at me as i stood off the bed. I must've stood too quickly because me head went all fuzzy. After it went back to normal, i picked up my jacket and exited the room. The house was silent. I trudged down the stairs and Laura was stood in the kitchen, cooking something. I walked closer and swung my arms around her body as she chuckled.

"Morning"

"Good morning" Laura smiled

"Why is it so silent in here?"

"Cooper is still asleep and Lila is in her room while Clint is out back" Laura explained

"Ahh okay"

"Where Bucky?" Laura questioned

"Being a nerd and reading the Hobbit"

"Hey! I like those books" Laura scowled

"Of course you do"

"Do you want breakfast?" Laura teased

"Yes please my favourite person ever. You know you love me really"

"I guess so" Laura laughed

"You guess? Wow"

"I love you too Kat now go find Clint and make sure he hasn't blown something up" Laura ordered

"Yes ma'am"

"God you sound like him too" Laura sighed

"Clint calls you ma'am? That's a turn off"

"Well lucky for you we have three kids and don't need anymore" Laura replied

"That one better be named after me"

"Natasha already called it" Laura smirked

"Screw Natasha, i'm much better then her"

"Just go" Laura laughed

I smiled at her before slipping on my boots that were by the door. I then walked out and looked around at the garden. The country side was nice and i loved to visit here. I heard a few noises from Clint's barn. The door was open so i slipped in and he was trying to fix something.
