Tensions had been high in the girl's dorm since Maddie and Hannah's spat with each other. Hannah stayed away from Maddie no longer wanting to set her off more than she already has. Even when Fetty walked in with the third note, all the girls just turned their head.

Maddie walked out of the bathroom with her uniform on tying her yellow tie, attempting to leave the hostile room quickly. She noticed Fetty laying on her bed with yet another note. She sighed looking around to see if any of the girls were watching. She took the note and opened it.

I guess what is silver must turn to gold? I wish I knew that but what do I really know about you? Not much besides the basic facts everyone knows about you. Of course that you are a Hufflepuff, you have magnificent green eyes, and you have two Gryffindor brothers. If you're up for it, write me back? Fetty will know where to go.

Maddie looked over at Fetty with a knowing look but Fetty just meowed. She sighed opening up her bedside table and grabbed a note card and a quill before scribbling down her message.

Fred Weasley changed the color and I hope you don't mind. I don't really know what to say to you since I don't know you. I don't even have the slightest idea of who you could be. So why don't you tell me something about yourself and then I will tell you about me.

"I assume you know where to go?" She said questioning her orange tabby cat that took the note in his mouth. He ran off quickly with the note disappearing from sight.

The girls didn't wait for Maddie nor did they offer to wait like usual. Maddie took notice of this but didn't really care, she was over their righteous attitude. Her attention turned to the footsteps coming closer to her. Maddie raised her head seeing Caroline leaning against the post of her bed.

"How'd you get in?" Maddie asked confusedly.

Caroline fake smiled, "not important but what is important is what you were doing in the Gryffindor common room yesterday?" Maddie shrugged making her bed, "that's all? Nothing? While I was with Cedric you were doing what? Admiring Fred from a distance?" Caroline questioned.

Maddie scoffed, "you know you can be a real bitch sometimes." She rolled her eyes laughing.

"At least I don't keep secrets." Caroline laughed too sitting on the bed. She laid back as Maddie sat next to her handing her the note.

"I wrote him back." She smiled as Caroline read the note, she sat up, "Fred turned the bracelet that Rick gave me to gold." She said showing the bracelet.

Caroline looked over taking notice of the jewelry. She nodded in curiosity, "still no idea who Rick is? Can't be Ced." She sighed.

Maddie looked over at her with a confused expression, "really? He was my only idea, you know Rick being the last part of his name and all." She pointed out obviously.

"You don't say?" Caroline asked rather sarcastically, "it can't be him, for one this Rick has a 'k' but Cedric doesn't and he is planning on asking Cho to be his date to that Yule Ball thing." She explained, Maddie's heart fell slightly.

"Oh." She looked down at her feet.

It never really occurred to Maddie that Cedric would ask Cho. She really hadn't even thought they were that serious and that Cho was just some sort of rebound for Cedric. Caroline looked over at Maddie as she slightly pouted at the thought, she nudged the upset girl.

"If you stop fawning over Fred Weasley I can find you someone, let me set you up with Theo!" She exclaimed happily, "then me, you, Blaise, and Theo can go together we can be miserable together." She smiled.
