Dearest Diary,

The Queen is either a genius or she's someone insane.

Sincerely,
Victoria.

Next week came by and my new job was helping the Queen with whatever she needed. We went to the castle as I followed her and gave me a maid uniform. By instinct, I went ahead and put it on and continued to help the Queen with her day.

I helped her with meetings, her schedules, her training, her studies, and her sneaking out time into the black market. Meeting with the local people and just being friendly. She's not one of the noble people I've used to see; inconsiderate and greedy.

My first impression of her considering that she was a 'Queen' was spoiled, rude, sophisticated at best, had manners, and just a person seated on a throne who looks down at everyone.

Now that I get to know her. I have never been glad in my life to be wrong.

"Put your back into it Ameria!"

"I'm trying!"

The sounds of wooden swords were heard exchanging blows on the field as two people fought. It was the king, Alastor Spade, and the Queen, Ameria Spade. King Alastor had no mercy even to his own wife. He wanted Queen Ameria to learn the art of swordsmanship, even I know she can't last in a fight between the brawl of swords. If it was either magic or technology she could perhaps win.

Their foots danced into the grass as King Alastor was hitting Queen Ameria in her openings. Left rib, right shoulder, and her left leg. I watched them fought until Queen Ameria asked for surrender. "You know I don't like any kind of physical combat Alastor! Why can't I just go back to my laboratory and make my own soldier fight for me?!"

King Alastor chuckled. "I cannot just leave you to be in this shape, my dear. You're turning into the most adorable chubby little Hamster I've ever seen. Plus the weird googles you have on your head."

"Excuse me? These weird goggles are my safety goggles whenever I need to do my experiments! Safety first as I always say!" (Queen Ameria) retorted as the two fought like the normal in love couple that they are. I ship it. Ahem.

I stepped forward feeling guilty I had to cut in. "Your highness. You have a meeting in fifteen minutes, please get ready by then." I said as I offered Queen Ameria a towel.

"Thank you, Victoria!" she exclaimed as she quickly took the towel in my arms. King Alastor noticed me having a question mark on his face. "Is this a new maid of yours, my dear?" He asked.

I was about to answer before Queen Ameria cut me off, "More like a new assistant on the job and a new friend for me."

When I heard that answer I looked down into the grass. Maybe a little happy that she called me her friend. King Alastor didn't think much of me though. "Assistant, you say? Is she well trained? Any experience? Is her loyalty true to you my dear?"

"No need to worry, Alastor. I'm pretty sure she's going to do well with my side." Queen Ameria tried calming down his husband but it was of no use.

He scowled at me. "I didn't ask if she's going to do well on the job. I'm asking if she's easily swayed by money."

"I don't think I am," I responded which he didn't really take lightly by it.

"I don't believe you." (King Alastor)

I looked at him and asked. "What would it take you to believe my loyalty for her highness is true?"
