Chapter 13: Prince Liam's Magic.

3rd Person's POV

Elizabeth stopped training due to the visit of her fiancé.

She motioned for a maid to go and grab her a towel because she was really sweaty from all the training. Prince Liam walks up to her and says hello, Elizabeth raises her eyebrows wondering what does he want now?  "Pardon me, your highness. I didn't realize you were visiting me. I should've dressed formal if you have only told me sooner." 

"I think I might like surprising my fiancé this way." (Prince Liam) said as he gave that charming smile no ladies can resist except for Elizabeth. She really didn't give a damn and decided to just clean up after the training.

"Uh-huh. I do appreciate the consideration but I think that's more of a distraction than a surprise." (Elizabeth) said bluntly leaving the prince standing there awkwardly. 

"A-Ahaha. As if I'm a distraction with this handsome features---" 

"Sure tell yourself that your highness. Forgive me but please do move a little away from me. I might hit you with my latest spell that I've been working on." (Elizabeth) as she finished taking the towel that the maid brought in and wiped some of her sweat off. The maid excused herself and continued to do her daily chores. 

Prince Liam went confused for a moment but he did as what she told.

Prince Liam moved far away from a safe distance as Elizabeth removed her magic suppressing gloves.

"I'm so buying new ones later." Elizabeth thought while focusing all of her mana in this one spell.

She saw the spell [Ice Spikes] in a book of magic and she wanted to learn it for herself however it's been three days with little improvement. She's only been summoning icicle pops of spikes that you can easily step on and break.

She closes her eyes, she feels the chill in her finger tips before chanting, "[Ice Magic: Ice Spikes]!"

 
Elizabeth shouted as a light blue magic circle appeared in front of her, it had eccentric designs that had a symbol of a snowflake. Unfortunately, she failed again and only summoned a small spike of ice. "Damn it all!" She shouted. She gritted her teeth and kicked the ice she summoned because she had enough of magic. Even though it was only three days she was clearly impatient about learning the new spell. 

'I thought people who get isekai'd was born into a new world being overpowered! What is this?! You stupid goddess! What power did you even give me with huh?!'

Elizabeth screamed at the back of her mind but little did she know, her only audience was impressed. It was Prince Liam who stood there being mesmerized by his fiancé. "Y-You... That was amazing!" (Prince Liam) shouted a compliment genuinely at her. 

Elizabeth turned around and forgot the prince was still here. "Amazing to summon a useless ice spike? Sure if you say so." She said sarcastically to him as she sighed disappointingly at herself but the prince just shook his head. 

"N-No! I really think it's amazing! I only learned my first spell last month! What you did was really amazing!" (Prince Liam) said still complementing the girl. 

The girl could only go a little pink as her she scratched her cheek with her finger.

"Thanks... I guess," she replied. Prince Liam started getting more closer and asked if she had other cool spells that she can show him.

"Come on! I wanna see!" He shouted with enthusiasm Elizabeth couldn't help but decided to show off maybe just a little.

"Fine... Just be careful and not slip if you do it's not my fault." (Elizabeth). The prince nodded excitedly and watched silently for Elizabeth to start chanting. She started to focus all of her magic as she bent down into the ground and placed her hands, making another magic circle with different symbols she opened her eyes and chanted, "[Ice Magic: Ice Floor]!"
