Chapter 20: The way to the heart is through the stomach!

3rd Person's POV

The gang was all done thanks to their physical prowess. Elizabeth was picking up the fruits high up into the tree as she cast, "[Ice Create: Ice Pillar]."

She used it to stand upon.

Olivia furrows her brow in worry, the pillar was really high and she worried about her highness falling or slipping. "Your highness, please be careful."

Elizabeth nods and reached for the fruits focusing on work.

Nala watches her master work while being restless and bored from just guarding the carriage. Her paws dug deep into the snow and left some claw marks on it.

Althea was not too far off with Prince Liam. Althea having no magic she just climbs the tree quickly and picks the fruit that way.

Prince Liam summons his familiar casting as a magic circle appeared below him, "[Phoenix Magic Summon]!"

A bright orange glow was seen as a phoenix appears and flew out of a portal. It lands on Prince Liam's extended arm.

"I need you to grab those." He points at the fruits.

The phoenix nods and screeches as it flew as fast as it could. Melting some snow around it. The sharp claws took the fruits and lowered them down to Prince Liam's basket.

Althea sighed as she sat on a nearby branch at one of the trees, "Tch, Flashy royals."

Althea looks over to where the princess was at keeping guard. Elizabeth was about to go down her ice pillar when suddenly a part of it melts, she slips accidentally on her heels—

'Oh for the love of— That stupid phoenix came too close to my ice pillar!' (Elizabeth) closes her eyes for a moment thinking of a spell to cast to save her fall.

Althea noticed this and was about to rush forward to catch her at a fast speed that her figure came into a blur.

"I gotcha—"

Olivia and Althea held both of Elizabeth's arms as they carried her safely down.

The farmers noticed the commotion as well as Prince Liam and ran towards them making sure the princess is okay.

"Your highness! Are you alright?!" (Farmer)

"Oh lords please tell me you are uninjured." (Farmer)

"Should you rest, your highness?!" (Farmer)

Elizabeth's head ached from all the worry. "I'm fine. It is merely a slip. We should continue working."

She dismissed them and stood up from both Althea and Olivia.

Althea couldn't believe that someone also got to princess other than her.

She was handling it perfectly but this maid— she glances at Olivia who was just glad that the princess is safe and follows her without question.

'What the heck?' (Althea) thought.

"Ugh, don't tell me I have another rival!" (Althea) slammed her fist into the tree as the snow poured all over her head as Prince Liam walks over worried.

The other farmers disperses and went back to work, after all, they have to deliver almost 3,000 fruits today.

Prince Liam looked guilty as his phoenix landed on his shoulder. "Are you alright, Althea?"
