Chapter 9

Few weeks went by and everyone had their certain missions to go on. You could say it was hard, but it was also easy.

Today everyone was in class listening to Gojo as he wanted to announce few news.

"So class As you know, our class isn't just about learning curses, but to work together as well. That's why drummer please.....!!!"

Everyone stayed quiet. They just wanted to get the class over with. "Jeez as much as I love you guys, why are you guys so boring." He said frowning.

"Can you just announce what you wanna say Gojo." Maki said annoyed. "That's Gojo sensei to you." He said pointing at her.

"....Gojo is fine anyways..." maki said looking away. "Ugh fine anyways I'll assign you guys in pairs for a project, but since it's an odd number of you guys 3 will be paired together."

As you heard this you were hoping that you weren't paired with Yuta. You didn't hate him. You tried, but every time he talked to you, you felt bad that you just had to act normal.

For some reason he still talked about Rika and it pretty much annoyed you, but you couldn't do anything but watch and listened to him.

"So the groups were assigned based on your grade level. Panda, Inumaki and Maki will be in one group. Y/n and Yuta are assigned together since they are in a higher level so I'm hoping you guys will get along."

'Did I just jinx it?' Y/n thought to herself. "How long are we going to be assigned to this project?" Y/n asked as she raised her hand.

"Good thing you ask Y/n. Another good news... 2 months!!!!" Gojo said cheerfully.

"2 months?!" Everyone yelled. "We're not saying it as a bad way, but why 2 months and what is this project?" Yuta questioned.

"Another good question. As you know you guys are about to be 2nd years next year so I want you guys to actually get stronger with each other. And with that you guys will practice everyday with your partners." Gojo explained.

Everyone was silent for a couple of minutes. Well that was until... "grrr" everyone turned around to hear Panda stomach growl. "What? Y'all never heard a panda stomach growl. Gojo is talking so much and I'm hungry". Panda said.

Y/n hearing that tried not to laugh so she just looked the other way. Yuta saw her holding her laughter in. He just smiled at her.

"Guysssss uhhhh please appreciate your sensei for once. Not everyone gets to have a handsome teacher as me." Gojo said as he decided to walk up front to the class. "But yes for this project I will be observing you all so you have to work together. And homework you will have to work together in that." He said.

Y/n Pov:
I'm not even sure what Gojo is actually planning, but working together with Yuta? 2 months? That's a lot. Before I would put my head down I heard someone call me. I turned to my side to see Yuta speaking.

"Let's work hard together Y/n!" He said with a smile as he wanted to fist bump you.

You couldn't tell if 2 months with Yuta was going to be good or bad. It would help you get strong and knowing his weaknesses or your feelings getting stronger.

"Sure" I said as I fist bump him with a small smile. I just don't understand why I still like him. After everything It was hard to move on.

'Oh well I need this grade.' I thought to myself.

Yuta Pov:
After that fist bump she quickly turned away from me. I'm not sure if she was actually happy to work with me. Lately she's just been distant after that fight with Seguru.
