I'm afraid in life a heart is a heavy burden to carry

Day twenty nine: missing pieces

"So that went...well?" A monotone voice sounds out into the sparse room. It's spoken quietly but still echoes off the walls. "No it didn't." A angry voice snaps back. Echoing louder "Yeah that was sarcasm." The monotone voice points out. Is almost funny how bland he speaks. Yet his mismatch eyes hold many emotions if you were to look.

The older boy just grumbles bringing his free hand to rub his eyes. The lights seem to be too bright. The way they let off a low buzz starts to tick him off. He's especially aggravated because of the brief time sharing his story in that nightmare reality of a classroom.

Two boys lay on the floor next to each other pinky fingers interlocking. You'd never see it unless looking closely for it. And no one would expect it so they wouldn't look. No one would expect to see them together, no one but the green eyed boy they'd lost and a certain tired scruffy teacher what had caught on.

They lay staring blankly at the ceiling, exhausted and waiting for something to happen. Anything to happen. The thought of a day just beginning seems way to much work. The two will most likely sleep the weekend off. At night search for anything that could bring their green haired boy back.

One lays to the left red and white hair scruffy instead of smooth and straight, eyes squinting and brows furrowed in thought. It's the closest thing to an emotionally display in weeks. At least publicly. The blond beside him as seen his fair share of break downs between the two of them.

The other said blond lays scowling, tutting and huffing. A thin shine of sweat coats his face and arms causing a sweet smell of a candy shop to circulate the room.

The two lay in silence wondering what they can possibly do next. Was there something they could say? Could they try to pry information out of their teacher?

The situation was a tight and tricky one. Many obstacles stood in their way and the fact that so much has happened to draw attention away from their Izuku frustrates them both to no end.

First The most powerful group of villains breaks up completely unexpected and out of the blue.

Then the most powerful villain league members isn't seen doing, saying or even thinking anything. It's been radio silence. Appreciated by call 1A but concerning for many heroes.

Speaking of a boy from the villain group hasn't been seen since the attack. The usual crazy red eyed boy, that's covered in hands has seemed to vanish.

The next vanishing act was off the poor green boy who had been held captive. Aizawa hadn't mentioned the part about him being brutally burned by the number two hero. Just that the boy was thought to be dead, and seen being taken by the leader and most powerful villain in all of Japan.

Also being taken was a young girl, plucked from the yakuza's most armed base and gone missing without a trace.

Then said girl is found in a mini mart with a boy who's been presumed dead after being killed by villains or heroes as it may seem.

And the police? They're more concerned about tracking down the seven main runaway villains, then they are finding three potentially missing kidnapped kids. The youngest being 6 the next 16 and the final one 21.

Oh did the two boys fail to mention they have information about the little green bean that went missing since they somehow came across him and witnessed a breakdown, but the police are too busy to hear them out so instead they have to go to their teacher who is just as angry and worried about the boy as they are.

The green boy, Who at this point let's be real the underground hero and teacher has now adopted.

Also how the split boys father is facing his hero title being striped for the murder of a child who was held captive. And to go to jail for the many crimes of abuse starting to pop up. Todoroki just says good riddance.

One slip up is all it takes for your life to be ruined.

"We left him alone." The blond states breaking the silence, resting his head to the left to look at the other boy. "Don't say it like that kat." The split boy says interlocking their hands together. He squeezes it in an effort of comfort. He's never been good at it, neither had the blond. The two had always relied upon the green eyed beauty who knew what to do for anyone at anytime.

"We can't stay long you know that." The boy says turning his face to the right to be met whit kat. "But Sho he's starting to remember and we fucking pushed him into a void. Who knows what shit he's going through. It could be a nightmare!" He counters trying to keep his voice low.

Shoto sighs softly. "Katsuki please. It's hard for us and even worse for Izuku but we have to hope..." he stops trying to think of the right word. "We need to believe he can do it. Think about the information we have. It's so little that we don't know where he is. Who he's with. Why he looked like he does. We don't even know if he's-"

"Shut up!" Katsuki interrupts sharply. Shocking himself with his tone and mumbling some sort of apology. "He's alive." He says softly. "We just have to wait."

Shoto nods lips being tug into a small smile. "He is our angel. And we are his darlings. He always come back and find us." Katsuki nods closing his eyes. "He's not going to be the same. And that's okay, but we'll have to help him return to normal." He says. Normal bite fading into a caring voice that very very few have heard.

"None of us are going to be the same after this is over." Shoto states. "We can all help each other Izuku more than us maybe but just to be near him will help my poor mind."

"Yeah your right... still I really hate your old trash can for what he's done." The blond proclaimed.

Shoto snorts a second rarity. "He's nothing of mine. Never was never will be. I'll be happy the day he's locked away for his crimes." The blond next to him cackles. "He won't even have his beard to protect him. Damn stupid man. Jeez but Sho..." he says softening his voice again.

Said boy hums in acknowledgement rubbing his thumb over the boys hand. "You know you're nothing like him. You're what deku said. You're you. Nothing else. Your power your body your mind. And the nerd was right, your mind is amazing."

The two gaze at one another in comforting silence. Before Shoto breaks it scooting closer. The blond huffs a laugh. "Come 'ere you big softy."

"Says the one hugging me." Shoto counters kissing the boys temple. "Mmm it will be nice to have him back in our arms. Seems so..." he trails off thinking how beat to put it. The blond opens an eye smiling softly "Lonely?" He supplied. The boy nods into the hug.

They stay quiet for a while before Katsuki talks again. "How did it take over a month to find him? Why was his funeral only a week before ua? Why did we have to start here without him by our side? How-" his voice breaks a little. "How can he ever forgive us for giving up on him?"

The taller boy looks gently to the blond. "Hay it's okay kat. He will always forgive us you know that. I know you have questions... I do too but we're so powerless. I'm so scared." He states letting his eyes water. Shoto makes no move to wipe them. "He must be terrified. Brain confused. Fearing for his life everyday."

"We cant do anything." Katsuki concluded. Shoto shakes his head pulling back. "We can do all we can. That will be enough."
