a hobo of a man but he has a kind heart

Day six: A witness

It took two days of watching the world from the familiar rooftop for the young boy to fully understand.

Time passes too quick for his liking he blinks and a new day has begun. As such the third day creeps up out of nowhere. The boy floating on the edge didn't even register the sun rising and falling each day, nor the change in weather. He just hovered looking mindlessly over the small people below.

It almost drags a sigh from him yet he had no breath to push out. It made the boy pause about his new- can he call it a life? It draws away his attention nevertheless and he focused on the growing feeling.

Death is never easy to explain especially to the living. It's why they fear it. It's common sense to fear the unknown. A safety feature ingrained into each person.

It's a hard thing to explain. How Izuku can't feel anything, not physically, the cold never bothers him, he can't get wet when it rains, he can't heat up when he's cold. A flame dose little more than look pretty.

It saddens the boy, drawing a far off memory of all the things he once loved. Speaking of his mind, could Izuku feel mentally? The answer is a simple yes.

Oh so many, yet so few emotions stir up. He has no stomach yet the twisted gut feeling still looms almost taunting. The fact that he's dead being rubbed in his face.

He's left a shell of his former self, forced to stay and suffer while others pass though him like he never existed. To be fair he didn't have much of an existence to begin with but there were a few people...

The empty feeling that fills his body provides proof enough that he is unable to perceive some if not all feelings that aren't directly linked to his death.

It makes his head pound when his mind wanders dangerously close to it. That day, the memories. It's still too raw to review. And to be honest Izuku would rather not talk about it. He can wish to forget about it but something tells him it's not that easy to do.

Whatever is keeping him here wants him to feel completely helpless. He's sure it's part of a bigger plan. There has to be a reason.

The only positive Izuku can see to this whole situation is that he's away from that man and his followers.

He could never get a good vibe from him. His suit was too clean. His posture and speech was too practiced. It was all unnatural, rehearsed.

The others, the others moved more freely. They were human, they tried to save his life and they weren't all bad. Their actions however. Those were very very bad. Each one of them had committed a crime that could easily have them put in the highest security prison. Maybe death follows them around. Was Izuku even special to them, Or was he just another faceless casualty.

No. He was special. That man told him. He was a creation that man said so. Izuku was his creation.

He doesn't know why but his mind is always clouded by him. Fuzzy sounds and foreign touches ghost over him. It's a feeling Izuku wants to scrub off. He hates how even in death this man who was clearly obsessed with him, still holds so much power. Is it his quirk? Or is the boy just suffering some weird side affects of being there. Who cares. It's not like they can do much he is dead after all.
