Chapter 9: Am I missing something?

"Wait should we get Catra some?" The trio was at a ice cream store and about to go to the hospital

"Adora it's probably gone melt"

"Well at least she knows we thought about her" she  whined

"Ugh fine."

They all got there ice cream and was going to see Catra

"Catra Michalka?"

"Straight down the hall, then take a left" the doctor pointed

They went into the room and saw Catra sleeping

"Aww she looks so cute" bow pointed out

"She does" Adora added, everyone went quiet

Catra was laying on the hospital bed with her mouth wide open and drool coming from it and she was snoring lightly.

"Let's wake her

They all surrounded here, Bow held up his hands with 3 fingers and started counting down

"3...2.....1"
"Catra!" They shouted together

"AH" Catra slapped Adora, which left a big red spot on her face.

"GUYS! REALLY?!" She put her hand on Adora's cheek

Adora just stood there

"I'm so sorry." Adora laughed and said "it's ok, we scared you, it's not like you did it on purpose"

Everyone was silent for a few until Adora spoke again "we bought you ice cream!" She handed it to the brunette "it's chocolate" she continued

"Uhhh Adora.."

Glimmer smacked herself  "That's right, ugh she can't eat chocolate"

"Oh...uhhhh here take mine, it's vanilla" Adora offered hers "are you sure?" The blond girl nodded

"Anyways how are you?" Bow asked

"Good" Catra said with ice cream in her mouth

"Do you know when you can get out of here?"

"I think they said Monday......no it was Thursday....actually I don't know, ask them."

Bow just nodded he's head "ok I guess...ima just...gonna ask them real quick" and he was out the room

"I miss you" Adora said eating Catra's ice cream "and I don't really like this flavor"

"I miss you too and your eating it anyways"

"That's because I just want some ice cream"

Catra chuckled and stared into Adora's eyes and so did Adora

"Uh-guys I'm here too." Glimmer waved her hands "y'know what just continue, I'm gonna go find Bow"

The blonde girl turned her head back to Catra

"Sooo" Adora started

Catra just looked around the room

"Have you watched the owl house?"

"Yeah. Plenty of times with yo-" then it hit Catra and she just said "yeah"

"Ok"

Adora was moving back and forth, onto her toes then her heal, neither of them knew what to say but to there luck Bow came back in the room

"So the doctors said you can come back home tomorrow since they think nothings wrong with you but-"Catra cut him off

"All you had to do was tell me when I can come home, crop top."

They were all silent

"Ooook, I-I'm just gon-gonna go wait for-glimmer" he pointed to the door with both his hands "ok-"

Adora and Catra both started laughing

Then Adora asked a question

"So, about this surprise what are we gonna do?"

"Adora it's called a surprise for a reason, I can't tell you."

"Please"

"Nope"

"Ugh"

Catra then got a text from scorpia.

Catra:
I'm doing fine, you?

ME AND PERFUMA ARE GETTING MARRIED IN 3 WEEKS!!!

Catra stared at her phone in shock

"What happened?" Adora asked, Catra shook her head and called Scorpia

"YOUR JUST NOW TELLING ME!?"

"Sorry, there was just a lot of drama going on, I was trying to find the right time."

"Sorry I yelled, it's fine"

"Who's that?" Adora asked

"It's Scorpia"

Adora raised her eyebrow

"Oh uh..Scorpia wanted to say hey to you"

"HEYY" Scorpia shouted, Adora got startled

"Hi"

While Scorpia and Adora we're talking, Catra wanted to bring up what had happened a couple of days back but Adora seemed like in a good mood and she didn't want to ruin it...

I'm doing a lot better in school now so updates are probably going to come faster, I don't want to set up a schedule cause I know I'm not going to go by it.
