It was 7:40am, and a skinny bloke was shuffling groggily around the supermarket. The ambient lights overhead buzzed as he grasped a beetroot, turned it over and placed it in his eco-friendly bag.
As the man went to sniff some leeks, the smartphone in his baggy trousers began to vibrate. Sighing, he shifted his bag to his elbow and answered the call.
It was a video call, from principal Nezu.
"Ah, Yagi, what a lovely view of your ear, thank you." Nezu complimented, panicking the blond man as he pulled the device away from his face and glared down at it.
5 squares amassed his screen altogether. In one was a skinny Toshinori Yagi, giving a view of under his chin as he shuffled around the vegetable aisle.
Another had Aizawa, already sat at his desk in Class 1-A.
Midnight's showed her in a large T-shirt with messy hair, presumedly still in bed. Nezu was stirring his teacup jovially in his, and Vlad king's was completely black.
"Sekijiro-san, are you with us?" Nezu inquired politely, sipping his tea.
A grunt from the black screen confirmed the teacher was present.
"What's this zoom call for Nezu?" Aizawa sighed, flicking through paper work on his desk, "is it important?"
"Mmm, I'd say so, pay attention. Security has informed me of a finding that occured the same day as the barrier's breakage." The mouse informed.
Aizawa leant forward to his screen, intrigued. Toshinori cautiously lowered the volume while Midnight stretched urgently to be conscious while she listened to this new "finding".
"The remnants of a dumpster fire were found outside the support course's building. A heavy amount of property was destroyed."
"Not the psycho paparazzi?" Midnight yawned and rubbed her eyes,
Nezu shook his head, "We can't confirm at this time. However, I can tell you when and what. The fire was started approximately, by staff's guestimate, 15 minutes before the barrier opened."
"And what exactly was destroyed?" Toshinori muttered, not wanting to draw attention. As Nezu continued, he aided a pregnant woman with her grocery trolley.
"Documents. Those sealed in the teacher's lounge. Student documents, all of them class 1-A."
Aizawa spat out his coffee.
"Personal info?" He wheezed hoarsely,
"Yes. Their entrance details, mock tests, address book, personal tid-bits and everything about each students quirk. Gone." Nezu stated seriously, Aizawa rubbed the space between his eyes, "meaning you, punctual Aizawa, I can rely on to re-write those important documents!"
Midnight laughed shamelessly as Aizawa groaned, All Might couldn't hold back his smirk.
"Have fun with that, Aizawa," All Might chuckled,
"Well I won't. At least I can work a damn video call, boomer." Aizawa shot back,
"Yo, chilll-" Midnight gasped at All Might and Eraserhead's beef.
A sudden sniffing caught the teacher's attention. Vlad King's screen was taken over by his beloved bull dog, inspecting the call and licking the camera.
Ignoring the dog, Nezu concluded, "The motives of the fire are yet to be discovered. That's all for now I'm afraid."
"That's alright," All might slid open the door of the supermarket and buffed up in broad daylight, "I can see Kamui woods and Mt.Lady struggling with a villain. Got to go!" He ended his call.
Tutting at the hero's almighty exit, Aizawa signed off with a groan at the news of rewriting valuable documentation. Midnight waved sleepily and her screen went black. Off screen Vlad king ended his call, cooing at his dog.
