Chapter 34

Marcus and I were walking towards the lockers and I was feeling all better

‘drama is pretty fun especially when we were acting like we were robots’ I said and Marcus nodded

‘what’s wrong?’ I had the fight the urge to hold his arm in a comfortable way because there were a lot of people in the hallways

‘nothing’s wrong, I’m just tired’

‘I can understand, you had to lift that chair for like fifty times!’ Marcus laughed at my exaggeration.

‘it was only five times’

‘well it must have felt like it was thirty because miss Summers sat on it, not that it made much difference, she looks like she weighed nothing. But anyways, it’s so cool that you can lift that chair with her on it for FIVE TIMES!’ he smiled again but tired

‘you must be really tired, shall I go get Jacob or someone or shall we go upstairs?’

‘let’s go upstairs’

‘okay give me three seconds’ I said, he nodded and I opened my locker really fast got my books out of it and stuffed it in my backpack. I slammed my locker shut and took the backpack in my hands and started walking.

‘why don’t you put your backpack on your shoulder?’

‘if you want me to fall or break my back you should just say it and I’ll put my backpack on my shoulder.’ He smiled tired. We were walking towards the elevator

‘can we go’ I looked at Marcus and saw that he looked really, really tired

‘no we’ll go with the elevator.’ I pushed the button and I got really nervous and scared *bing* the elevator arrived and opened, we stepped in and Marcus pushed the button for the fifth floor. The elevator went up and I got even more nervous

‘what’s wrong?’ Marcus asked me

‘nothing’ I replied way too quickly but I didn’t care I just wanted to get out of the elevator we were now coming across the second level and the door opened, three guys came strolling in and pushed the button for the fourth floor.

They were talking while Marcus and I just stood still. On the fourth floor the door opened again and the boys stepped out, I fell a little relief flooding through me, I definitely don’t like it if I am in a small crowded place. *bing* we were on the fifth floor and when the doors opened it took everything in me not to sprint out of the elevator.  I walked out of the elevator next to Marcus

“please sound like me again, please sound like me again” I thought and Marcus went into his room immediately and I knocked, he opened the door

‘do you need anything?’ I asked ‘or do you just want to go to sleep?’

‘could you please bring me a glass of water?’

‘yes of course’ I replied happy that he accepted my offer.

I walked towards the kitchen while taking my wig off, I shook my hair and took out a glass of the cupboard and I opened the fridge, I took out a bottle of water and closed the fridge. I screwed open the cap and filled the glass with water, I closed the bottle and put it back in the fridge, I walked back to Marcus’ room and knocked, he opened the door, but he had no shirt on. I shrieked and turned away

‘sorry, here’s your water’ I gave it to him without looking back, he laughed and took the glass of water

‘thank you’ he said while still laughing, but it sounded less then Marcus *bing* the elevator opened and the boys came out laughing, Jacob looked over at me smiling and then looked behind me, his face turned to a mixture of anger and worry.
