Still Marcus’ POV
‘OH MY FUCKING GOD! How long have you been awake?’ I said accusingly to her and she just shrugged .
‘since Deamon came in’ she said simply
‘how long ago was that?’ ‘about four, five hours ago’ she said and I turned to the guys
‘if anyone heard her wake up he should warn us remember!?’ I exclaimed
‘yeah, but we didn’t hear or see her wake up’ the all said at once
‘wow’ Evangeline said ‘that was creepy’ she stood up and walked away to the door
‘where are you going?’ Deamon asked her and she just shrugged, so we all followed afraid of what might happen if she was alone.
She slowly opened her door and looked into her room, she came out of the room and looked at us
‘where is Brenda?’
‘what do you mean?’ Michael asked her
‘well, Brenda was sleeping in my room and now she’s gone’ she said and panic rose in her voice, Deamon also noticed that because he took his phone out of his pocket
‘I’ll call her okay?’ he asked Evangeline and she nodded
‘hey Bren’
hey Deamon, what’s wrong? I could hear everything that was being said.
‘where are you?’
I’m at home
‘why didn’t you tell us?’
because I didn’t want to wake you guys, and it would only take me a second to go home I would come back in the morning to say goodbye to Evangeline she explained
‘yeah, but Evangeline woke up and she was worried’
how could she have woken up? She asked and I scratched my neck what made the guys look at me
‘what?’ I asked
‘did you wake her up?’ Deamon asked me
‘yeah, well, she was screaming, and then suddenly she had different expressions on her face, I was curious’
‘couldn’t you have waited till the morning?’ he asked me and I shook my head
‘I was afraid that she would have the same thing as Jacob, that she’s stuck between a few emotions… and you wouldn’t know how to get her out of it, plus she was asleep, so it might have been dangerous’
I said, it was all made up, but I was hoping that they would fall for it. they did.
Oh I’m sorry, tell her that she shouldn’t be worried, I am safe at home she said and Deamon nodded but he realized that she couldn’t see it so he said okay and he hang up after saying goodbye. He turned to Evangeline
‘she’s okay, she had an appointment and had to leave early so she couldn’t say goodbye’
‘okay’ Evangeline said ‘but I didn’t hear her go away, and I was awake for more than five hours.’ She said and Deamon shrugged
‘she must have realized that she had an appointment and she saw that you were asleep and she didn’t want to wake you. but she did say that she would call you to apologize to you tomorrow, well, today.’ He said and Evangeline nodded
‘okay, since it is already morning I won’t go to sleep’
‘why not?’
‘because the day will be wasted if we’d sleep now, we could just have breakfast now and then do our homework or something, or do whatever you do on a Saturday morning.’ She said and she went into her room.
