"Are you going abroad?"

I looked at him hesitantly not sure how to construe the stormy look in his dark eyes. I owe him the truth though even though we haven't been talking for the past weeks.

"Um, I'm trying to", I admitted glancing at the letters in my hands, "I'm applying for universities abroad."

"Why?", he asked bluntly, the raging storm in his eyes growing.

"They're great universities, I guess", I said shrugging not telling him the true reason why I want to leave the country, "it's a great chance."

He looked on the ground with sloping shoulders.

"Y/N, before you throw these into the letterbox, can we talk?", he asked pleading me with his eyes, "like really talk?"

"Okay", I gave in not really sure where this was going but it seemed to be very urgent.

"You can come inside... if you want to, of course", he offered and I nodded.

What happened to the times when he would just call me over with a flirty smile on his face making me blush in an instant?

I followed him inside, took off my shoes and sat down opposite from him on the couch in the living room.

"How have you been? You know ever since...", he asked trailing off.

"At first, very bad to be honest", I said with a small smile, "but now I'm better. It took some time to get there but you know, I'm moving on."

"That's good to hear", he said nodding returning the smile.

Really, what happened to the boy who was rude and playing with hearts like toys? He really changed a lot.

"Jungkook, I'm sorry that I ignored you", I apologised quietly, "I just... needed space. A lot of space."

He looked at me for a short while scanning my face with his restless eyes and then nodded.

"It's okay, I understand", he said smiling faintly.

And then it became silent. No one said a thing and we stared awkwardly at something in the room, anything but each other.

"I'll be going then", I said feeling a little uneasy.

He nodded and got up bringing me to the door.

My hand was on the door handle when he grabbed my wrist sending a wave of electricity through my body at the contact.

"Y/N, please don't go", he said in a pleading voice.

I froze shortly before I turned around to him with a soft look on my face.

"Jungkook, I'm only going to study abroad. It's not like I'll be gone forever", I said chuckling slightly.

"No, you don't understand", he almost was begging, "you can't go."

The look on my face turned into a sad one. He was trying to hold on to me, but it was too late. I couldn't stand being around him and his girlfriend for any longer. I needed to get out of here.

"Why?", I asked quietly, "give me one good reason why and I'll stay."

He let go of my wrist and stared at the ground.

"Me."

"I don't want you to go", he added in a whisper, "I... I need you."

I didn't know how badly I wanted ot hear these words from him until they actually rolled off his tongue.
