Two days have passed since Jungkook almost told Soojung and Taehyung how you actually got to know each other.

It's not an important secret but it's still embarrassing for me and I tried to forget about it the last two years. And if he told everyone else I had to go through all that again.

"Okay, honey. You remember the way?", my mum asked handing me my water, "sorry I can't take you today." "It's okay, Mum. Don't stress yourself out. I know the way", I waved her goodbye and left the house.

Today my mum couldn't bring me to school so I had to walk which was no problem because the way wasn't that long. I just had the feeling that someone was following me all the way. But I quickly shook that feeling off.

I planned too much time so when I entered the school there was almost no one there yet. I walked into the empty classroom and put down my things when suddenly someone shut the door loudly.

"Jungkook!", I yelled when I recognized him, "you startled me." "Oh sorry. I thought you saw me. I was right behind you", he said shrugging.

"What? That was you who followed me all the way?", I asked confused. "Yeah. What did you think? I'm your neighbour", he answered laughing. Oh, how embarrassing.

"Ah by the way: so you can't complain about the noise just come to my next party on Friday night", he invited me smirking again. Why is he always smirking? It makes me nervous.

"I can't believe that Soo Ah let's you celebrate so many house parties", I mumbled and he just looked at me. "So?", he said chuckling and sat down on his seat.

"Ugh you'll see if I'm coming or not", I said defiantly, "will Taehyung be there too?"

"I dunno. I didn't ask him yet", he answered but this time his facial expression has changed. He seemed kind of annoyed.

Fortunately other students entered the classroom and our conversation was over.

"Oh hey, Y/N", Soojung greeted me giving me a warm smile.

"Hi", I said, "can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, sure", she said sitting down.

"Are you coming to Jungkook's party on Friday?", I asked her interested.

"Yes, I think I will. Why? Did he ask you too?", she returned, "I think there's something about you that he likes."

"Oh, I-", I blushed and wanted to answer something but the teacher interrupted me. There's something about me? What does she mean? - Wait. I don't care about him, remember?

But those words were stuck in my head for the rest of day and I was still thinking about it when we were having dinner.

"Y/N, are you even listening to me?", my dad interrupted my thoughts. "Oh, I'm sorry. I zoned out. What were you saying?", I apologized.

"Are you okay? Did you find friends already or is there something we should know?", my mum asked concerned grabbing my hand.

"I'm fine, Mum. I really like the new school and I got to know a really nice girl, Soojung", I reassured her.

"Oh, that's nice. You can invite her over some time if you like to", she offered.

"Oh mommy! Can I bring Jaemin too? I want to play video games with him", Wook whined. "We'll see okay?", my dad answered smiling, "but now we need to discuss something else."

"Your Dad and I are going on a short business trip until Saturday. Wook can stay over at Sujin's House but I think you can probably stay at home alone, can't you?", my mum asked me.

"Yeah, sure. I'm fine here", I answered. "Okay, good. Then we have someone to guard the house."

And so it came that I was on my own for three days. I felt kind of bad because I didn't ask my parents for permission to go to Jungkook's party but I mean, it's like a neighbourhood party isn't it?

Oh yes and I decided to go there. It's a good opportunity to get to know new people and maybe I could prevent Soojung from drinking too much.

While I was walking home from school on Thursday lost in my thoughts it started to rain a bit. It became worse and I still wasn't even close to my house when a car pulled up next to me.

"Y/N, come on! Get in, you're almost completely soaked", it was Soo Ah, Jungkook's mother who talked to me.

I haven't actually seen her in a while but she still looks very pretty. I've always admired her for her beauty.

"Oh, I'm fine. Thank you", I said wiping the rain away from my face. "Don't be ridiculous! We have the same way anyway", she said chuckling and stopped the car so I could get in.

"Thank you", I said again as I sat inside the warm car. "No problem, darling. We're neighbours now, aren't we? I'm sorry we didn't have time yet to come over and welcome you", she said smiling.

And with 'we' she probably meant Jungkook and herself since they're living on their own. As far as I know mum told me that she got a divorce.

"You're alone at home right now, aren't you?", she asked me while driving. "Um yes. How did you know?", I asked curiously.

"Ah your mum told me. She said I should keep an eye on you", she explained chuckling, "do you want to stay over for dinner?

No. That would mean I head to spend even more time with Jungkook than I already have to. "No, I'm fine. Please don't put yourself to any bother on my account", I answered politely.

"Oh no no no. I'm always cooking so much for Jungkook anyway. Please, come and eat with us", she said. I can't really say no to this. Mum would kill me if I did.

"Okay, then", I gave in frightened of what will happen. She stopped the car and I followed her inside.
