After a year, Korea's Prince Charming, Hyun Bin, has now returned to his rightful place on the stage. The ballet world is celebrating Hyun Bin's comeback at the recent nationals at StarRise International.
Hyun Bin's sudden retirement left the ballet community stunned by the news. At that point last year, Hyun Bin was at the prime of his career and was in talks to be the Korean representative for the first-ever cross-cultural ballet exchange. As the most sought-after premier danseur noble, Hyun Bin's retirement came as a shock to many.
Not much is known about the reasons behind his retirement since the prince dropped out of the programme after his last show in Italy.
With his comeback, all eyes are on what Hyun Bin would do next. Currently, he is the choreographer for the apprentice class at Seoul Royal Ballet Dance Company. Last night's performance was indeed a Teacher-Student item performed by him and one of the company's apprentices, Ms Son Ye Jin.
The duo wowed the audience with their emotional masterpiece, Moon Child, which tells a love story between a blind girl and a man. Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin not only showed a mastery of skills beyond their years but also showcased their out-of-the-world chemistry with their performance.
The ballet community is immensely excited to welcome their ballet prince back on stage, perhaps with his beautiful duet partner.

Moon Child was a success in more ways than one.
Overnight, various news outlets posted article after article about Hyun Bin's comeback. With all the hype over the news, these news outlets have also done their digging on Ye Jin which resulted in her name being plastered all over social media. From a nobody, Ye Jin instantaneously became the talk of the town along with Hyun Bin.
Their chemistry was also a trending topic on SNS platforms. From their stage visuals to the way they danced together, it would appear people were shipping them on those platforms.
