Maybe I managed to write one with Azriel, where I DON'T hurt him. Do you believe it? In this, Gwyn and Azriel talk about the stars.

_____

Gwyn had known for a while now. She could feal it in training, notice it in her dreams, sense it in the air around her. Every moment she was with him, she knew, every part of her body knew. For when he was gone, she knew exactly how much she wanted him. She knew and it almost hurt her that she for some reason couldn't accept it. That what had happened to her made her fear even the thought of being closer to him then now...

Once, and only once had he by mistake touched her without warning. She had been practicing her sword skills, and he had moved up behind her, focusing on Emerie's own practice. And then... He had bumped into her, out of reaction he had grabbed her arm to help her regain her balance. Gwyn had meet Azriel's eyes, and for a moment she saw the soldiers from Hybern grabbing her. Not Azriel. For a moment she was back there. And then... He let go, seeing her fear. But she came to miss his touch, his hand on her arm... That was almost a year ago, the summer after the Rite.

Gwyn took a deep breath and started her routine form the beginning again. Coming up to the rings in the night had become her new way of handling things. Before it had been silence, then working, and now, training. Her blood roared in her ears, and the sound of her blade hitting its target became a steady rhythm in the night.

"One two three four, five.... One two three four five... One two three four five..." Again and again, counting the strikes.

He made is present know by shuffling the gravel around, Gwyn sloverd her movements, until she stoped and turned towards Azriel. Not sure what to do now. Azriel nodded in approval.

"You are getting better." He said. His voice made her heart speed up even more. He was there, just feet in front of her.

"Thanks..." She said back, looking down at the blade still in her hands. Not sure if she could look directly at him without waking that fealing up again.

"How often are you up here alone?" He asked, moving closer.

"When I can't sleep." She said back. Lately that had been every night, her dreams had become more intense, and her body restless.

"You know that over-training can be dangerous?" Azriel said back, not pressing on why she was awake, maybe because he understood her dreams, or because he was more worried about her injurering herself.

"What are you doing here?" She asked back, fully aware of how his scared hands was rearranging the weapons rack. That part of her wanted to know how they felt against her, they looked to rough. But she had a fealing that that was just the look.

"I just returned from a mission... And found Nesta and my brother... Occupied..." Azriel smiled at her and Gwyn gave him one back. She wasn't that surprised of what Azriel had found when he come home.

"Yea, so are you just gonna stand here the entier night?"

"That was the plan." His smile... She meet his eyes directly and it made Gwyns blood roar. It made the small amount of peace she had found go away to be replaced by that desire and fear.

"I will leave and lett you continue with your plan." She said, knowing that she would not get any sleep now. But to stay...

"You can stay." Something changed in his voice. "Not sleeping under the sky gives more rest then not sleeping in bed." Gwyn knew that if Emerie or Nesta was there, they would smile at the way the words could be intrepid. They would say some funny comeback at that to tease them. But Gwyn knew he meant it. That sitting down under the stars gave her more peace of mind then her dark dorm in the library ever would.
