Chapter 23.2: Homecoming part 2

The train stopped at the Tulsipur junction. Anirudh decended from the train. Kaka and Bihari was standing in the station. But what what attracted Anirudh's attention was the cute smilling face of his little patni devi. She came running to him and hold the handi in his hand.
"Ek badam rosogolla laye ho mere liye... ek handi keuu.. aur 7 kaha??"
"Keya karu Bondita do hi haat hain na mere.. ek pe suitcase hain to ek aur hi free rahega na..."
"Acchaaaaa" Bondita gave a taunting tone "to pehle keya 10 haat the??.. pehle jo 8 handi late the aap??"

Kaka and Bihari smiled at these two

"Aab do bahu ke sawal ka jawab... kanjoos ban geye tumhare patibabu..." taunted kaka

"Bondita " replied Anirudh "pehle main gari se Calcutta jata tha to 8 handi lane main samasya nehi hoti thi.. per train pe kaise lao bolo..."
Bondita looked at Anirudh and then turned her face towards the ground..
Kaka's expressions also changed...

"Mera surprise kaha hain" Bondita looked up at Anirudh with a smile..
"Hain ... yaha nehi ghar pe dikhaunga..."
Bondita continued smilling looking at his face..
Anirudh also showed his teeth "hehe.. daat keya dikha rahi ho.. daatne aya hu tumhain main..."
Bondita moved her face down and looked at him sideways
"R a tu ise keya date ka gaddhe" replied kaka "itne dino main ane ka samai mila tujhe?? Har bar bahu ko kehta raha jaldi ayunga jaldi ayunga.. toh yeh keya namuna hain jaldi aneka??"
Bondita nodded her head in a "yes"
Anirudh stared at her and she again moved her face down..
"Bacchi ko keya akain dikha ta hain.. tu ghar chal tera hisab main leta hu..."
Bondita gave a naughty smile..
Anirudh again stared at her and she changed her expressions.

They started walking towards the car. Bondita cane running from behind and hugged Anirudh's hands.

Anirudh gave a smile at Bondita and she gave a cute smile in return.

After returning home Anirudh went to the washroom to fresh himself up. He cane out rubbing his head with a towel and found Bondita searching for something in his suitcase.

"Bonditaaa"

Bondita stopped her search and looked frightenedly at Anirudh and took a gulp..
"Keya kar rahi ho.. aise suitcase main permission ke bina haat dena buri baat hain na.."
Bondita looked at the door..
"Bonditaaa... keya dhun rahi thi...."
"Woh woh woh... woh mera surprise "
"Nehi dunga..."
"Keu nehi..."
"Tumnain saotani ki isliye surprise cancel..."
Bondita ran and hugged him and then looked up at him with kitty eyes..
"Dijiye na..."
"Nehi... nehi dunga.. tum jante ho mujhe..."..
Bondita hold Anirudh's hand and put her finger on her lips..
"Shusshhh... ayiye..." she whispered and dragged him out of the room.

Near the door Anirudh saw kaka standing.

"Patibabu kakasasurji ne kaha mujhe apki suitcase se apki Calcutta ki pata dhunne ko..."

Kaka was shocked..

"Kaka aappp...."
"Keya main keya... keya... tera kaka hu.. tera pata janne ka adhikar nehi keya mujhe..."
"Per aap Bondita to keu bhejha??"
"Tera patni hain tere sab chizo per bahu ka adhikar hain..."
Bondita nodded her head...
"Patibabu aab surprise denge na??"
"Bahu... tofe ke liye mujhe aise fasa diya..." Kaka gave a kitty face look at Bondita
Bondita looked down.. "mujhe woh tofa chahiye.."
"Keya kaka bacchi hain... use aise to na boliye... aapne yeh bilkul thick nehi kiya kaka..."

"Ha galti toh hanesa hum karte hain.. tu to majapurush hain... humnain to yeh teri chinta main kiya.. per tu to hain apne pagalpan main galtiyo ka pahar khari karta hain..."

Kaka was leaving from there but then stopped and looked at Bondita. He caressed her head..
"Bahuu... hum gussa nehi hain tumse... tum log khus raho isse jada aur hum keya chahenge..."
He also caressed Anirudh's head...
"Baas khus raho tum log.."
Anirudh gave a smile in return
Kaka kissed on Anirudh's forehead and left....

Anirudh entered his room..
Bondita followed him...
"Abhi nehi Bondita sham ko.."
Bondita puffed her face and moved her face.
Anirudh smiled and pinched her cheeks..
She mived her face and left the room...

It was 4 O clock... all were taking rest after the lunch. Bondita took a copy and was making drawings on it with colour pencil...
"Bonditaaaa"
The sound cane from behind... it was Anirudh
Bondita moved his face in abhiman..
Anirudh sat beside her..
"Toh meri choti si patni devi mujhse naraz hain... rhick hain koi baat nehi main chala jata hu..."
Bondita looked at him..
"Nehi naraz nehi hu..."
"Sotti..."
"Sotti... "
"Akhain band karo Bondita"
Bondita closed her eyes...
"Aab kholo"
Bondita opened her eyes and saw the little silver butterfly sparking in setting sunlight..
Bondita's face was filled with happiness
"Pata hain Bondita tumhari pass bohat sundar sone ki gehne hain.. sayed tumhe yeh mamuli sa...."
Bondita just didn't bother his words and took the brooch from his hand..
"Yeh kitna sundar hain..."
"Tumhain pasand aya?"
"Bohattt"

It was the time for sandhyarti...
"Bahuu..."
"Ayi kakasasurji"

Bondita came with the thali..

"R a bahu... yeh keya pehna hain saree ke upar.. itne sundar sone ke gehno ke beech main yeh keya chota sa penhna hain.. jao badal ke ayo.. "
Anirudh looks on...
"Nehi yeh bohat sundar hain.. mujhe sabse yada yeh pasand hain.."
"Bahuu tum zamindar ki bahu ho... sringar pe dheyan to dena hoga na.. bachpana chalega hamesa.."
"Nehi sab gehno se yada yeh gehna sabse sundar hain..."

Anirudh's heart was soo filled...

Bondita went with the arti dia ...

Kaka gave a confused look.. "bahu ko yeh chota sa gehna itna pasand keu hain.."

Bondita  looked at Anirudh and gave a smile.. Anirudh gave a smile in return...

Kaka noticed the exachange of smiles and smiled "ha woh to sabse sundar gehna hain... Durga Ma humainsa khus rakhna inhe..."

Anirudh went towards Bondita
"Bondita yeh arti ki diya mujhe do.."
"Keuu?"
"Haat ki halat dekhi hain apni... do yeh mujhe.. main kar deta hu aj.."
"Per arti ki diya ghar ke har taraf dikhana bahu ka kaam hain na?"
"Do yeh mujhe Bondita " scolded Anirudh with an angry stare..
Bondita gave the dia to Anirudh

"Keya hua Anirudh" asked kaka
"Kaka Bondita ki haat ka hakat thick nehi... aj arti ka dia main dikha dunga.."
"Anirudh yeh ghar ki bahu...."
"Bondita ane se pehle to aap ya Bihari yeh kaam karte hain... ghar ke bete ka keya itna adhikar bhi nehi kaka..."
"Bara chalak hain tu... Bondita ko sararti bolta hain per khud ko dekha hain... baas ish chalaki ko jara sahi disha main lagana.. fise koi galat kadam ya gondogol na karna.."
Anirudh had no reply to this...

"Bondita aab se jada jor na dena apne haat pe.." Anirudh instructed while applying oinment on Bondita's hand "kabhi first ane pe jor diya maine tumhe.. pass marks hi kafi hain.. baas apni tabiyat aise na kharab karo..."
Bondita looked down at the floor...
"Per....." Bondita wanted to say many things about her problems in school but she stopped..
"Keya Bondita? "
"Kuch nehi... aap keya kal hi chake jayenge..."
"Ha Bondita. . Per jane se pehle..." Anirudh looked around... he then took a piece of paper and wrote a number..
"Yeh main jaha rehta hu waha ka phone number hain.. kisi aur ko mat dena ha... promise.."
"Promise..."
"Sotti..."
"Sotti..."

Anirudh and Bondita smiled at each other... Anirudh told her many stories of Calcutta and unknowingly they spent the whole night laughing and gossiping..

Anirudh opened his eyes... it was morning.. birds were chirping merrily.. he found Bondita sleeping on his arms. They don't know when they feel asleep. Anirudh looked at the clock... he's late... only 2 hrs left for the train... Anirudh looked at Bondita.. he rests her head on the pillow and left...... he don't kniw when will they meet next...

"Aap isber jaldi ayenge na patibabu?" Asked Bondita at the station...
"Ha Bondita. .."
"Sotti?"
"Sotti"
Anirudh bid adieu and Bondita waved her hands... totally unaware of the big conspiracy going to come up against them... you can forget the past but the past may not forget you....
