Chapter 38: Raghav meets Kaka

"Anirudh tum phone kar lo.." told Mr. Banerjee
"Phone??" Anirudh wondered
"Ha phone to subah hi thick ho geya...lo kar lo.." Mr. Banerjee held the receiver towards Anirudh
Anirudh hold the receiver  "kise phone karu sir?"
Banerjee gave a hopeless glance at him.." bacchi ko ghar pe akele rakh ke aye the?? Ghar pe aur koi nehi hain tumhara??"
Anirudh suddenly recalled his family.. "oh ha ha... kaka chinta kar rahe honge..."
Anirudh started dialing. The phone didn't connect. He tried again.
"Lag keu nehi raha phone..."
"Keya? Maine subha hi to phone kiya.. sayed udhar koi samasya hui hogi... thodi der baat dekho.."

Kakima was combing Bondita's hair
"Wah Bondita tumhare baal to bare sundar hain.."
Bondita gave a proud smile in return
"Ta Bondita apne patibabu se aise bhag bhag ke keu ghum rahe ho? Darte ho unse?"
Bondita nodded her head in approval "ha.... patibabu apko kakima pukar rahe the main bhi kakima pukaru??"
"Ha jarur..."

Kakima combed her hair and looked at her. How pure and beautiful this kids share. She combed her hair and recalled how her daughter had obession towards her long hair. She started tying her hair in side combed plaits. The same way her daughter used to love.
"Yeh to kitna sundar hain.." Bondita was so delighted to see this new hairstyle.
"Tumhe pasand aya??"
Bondita smiled and nodded her head..
"Accha Bondita" kakima made her seat beside her "tum sise chali keu ayi kisi ko kuch na batake?"
"Kaha na maine waha..."
"Tumne sach nehi bola yeh baat Anirudh ko bhi malum hain.."

"Keya hua tha?? "

"Mujhse aur waha raha nehi geya.." Bondita started sobbing.. "woh ro mujhe apne kamre main bhi rehne nehi dete kehte hain kupratha hain woh..."
Kakima caressed her head "ha Bondita Anirudh sahi kehta hain... kupratha hain woh.."
Bondita looked at her "per keu yeh koi nehi bolta mujhe."

Bondita started sobbing hard. Kakima heald her near her and caressed her.
"Rote nehi hain... r a aisa koi kanun hain hi nehi na kabhi ayegi... ayi bhi to woh jo bal bibhaha hoga use rokega age hue baal bibha abaith ho geya to satyanash ho jaiga.
Bondita looked at her "sotti??"
"Akdom sotti.."
Bondita smiled...

Haldar had his lunch and left for Calcutta.
"Ma main khelne jao??" Raghav seeked permission from his mom..
"Kaha??"
"Batuk ke ghar.."
"Ha jao per jaldi ay jana.."

Raghav ran towards the Roy Choudhury haveli. His heart is beating fast.
He entered the haveli. Kaka was walking to and fro the drawing room. He noticed Raghav.
"Tumm... tum kaun ho beta??"
"Ji uncle main Batuk ka dost hu... woh hain ghar pe.."
"Ha hain... Batukkk..."
Batuk came "ji kaka.."
"Dekho tumhara koi dost milne ata hain.."
"Woh Raghav.... per aj to.."

Batuk took Raghav inside... Raghav saw Haran there.. his heart skipped a beat..

Raghav saw Trilochan going towads his room.
"Accha Batuk tumhare kaka Bondita se bohat payar karte hain na??"
"Ha..." Batuk was too tensed..
"Mujhe unse mila hain.. jab woh akele honge ...please... jaruri hain.."
Batuk couldn't understand anything.. "keuu.??"
"R a tum chalo hi na.."

Raghav and Batuk went towards Kaka's room. Kaka was sitting in an easychair with hus eyes chosed and continuously beating the handle of the chair.
"Batuk tum jake tumhare Haran namke naukar ko busy rakho..." Raghav whispered
"Keuu??"
"Uff itna keu keu karte ho na... woh ek spy hain British ka... woh Bondita ka rukshan karna chahata hain..."
Batuk was shocked.. "per keu..??"
Raghav got irritated now.. "tu ja na aur jo bol raha hu kar.." and pushed him
"Thick hain jata hu..."
Raghav went inside the room and closed the door..
"Kaun???" Kaka woke up..
"Shhhh" Rghav put his fingures on his lips and signed kaka to be quite..
He ran towards kaka and whispered..
"Uncle British police Bondita ko apharan karna chahati hain... uske liye unlogo ne Haran namke ek spy ko yaha bheja hain.."
Kaka was shocked.. "keya bol rahe ho??"
"Ha... sayed aj subha se Bondita missing hain... woh musibat main hain yahi baat apko bolne aya hu... police apki koi madad nehi karegi rather aap tak Bondita koi khabar pouchne ka sab rasta bandh kar diya un logo ne.."

Kaka caressed his head... "beta dugga ma tera bhala kare.. " tears came on kaka's eyes "bohat khus rahe tu.."
Raghav smiled and stepped back but returned again.
"Uncle kusiko mat batana ki maine apko bola hain.. mere baba ek British officer hain.. woh samil hain in sab main.. unhe agar pata chala ki maine..."
Kaka kept his hand on Raghav's head.. "kisiko para nehi chalega beta... tum aap jao... samalke jana ha.."

Raghav left. Kaka kept wondering why Britishers want to abduct Bondita?? She's a child... Binoy ne kuch gardbad ki keya.. woh how can he forget the gondol specialist his ladla bhatija Anirudh. Jarur us pagal ne hi kuch kiya hoga. Per how to get Bondita's news now??
