Chapter 6

Malaika's POV

After 2 months

It's been 2 months, a lot of things happened. I didn't stay on Amara's condo. I stayed away to them. Yes. I distance myself for a while and explored Korea. I left my luggage on Amara's house, though I didn't mind, bago kasi umalis dinala ko na yung mga importante. Bumili na lang din ako ng bagong damit, konti lang din naman yung dinala ko. I left a message to Dad, Amara, and Sander before deactivating my accounts. I don't know why I did that, I just feel like it. Here I am now, I'm feeling kinda okay already.

During those 2 months I started arranging my business. I've been dealing with some engineers and architects. Bumili din ako ng condo at kotse. Actually I'm just in Seoul. Today is the opening of all my business. It's time to contact them again huh.

I opened my accounts. I got tons of message from Dad, Amara, and Sander. I immediately call Dad and as usual he answered right away.

Dad: Malaika.

Aika: Dad, I miss you.

Dad: You made me worried.

Aika: I told you dad, im fine. I'm back, todays the opening of my businesses.

Dad: I'm glad that you're doing okay, next time don't do that.

Aika: Yes, dad.

Dad: Congratulations on your business, do you need my help?

Aika: You do know dad that everything's fine.

Dad: Of course, you're my daughter. I miss you too.

Aika: I'll video call you later, I need to contact Amara and Sander those two might already kill me.

Dad: Okay, take care, I love you.

Aika: I love you too.

I'm glad he's fine and didn't nag me for a long time but I think I'll be dead now. I went to our group chat where Amara and Sander are in, I press the video call. After three rings they both answer which made me chuckle looking at their face. I can see the anger and worry on their faces.

Aika: I miss you guys. Wala ba akong pawelcome back jan?

Sander: Bwesit ka! Grabe yung kaba ko pagkagising ko nun, wala kana agad tapos makikita ko pa yung message mo.

Amara: Gaga ka talaga, pinag alala mo kami. Nasapak ko pa si Sander. Tapos ang lakas ng loob mo sabihin na namiss mo kami heh.

Aika: Sunduin ko kayo mamaya ha.

Sander: Ha?

Amara: Bakit?

Aika: Opening na nung mga pinatayo ko na business.

Sander: Iba talaga pag Malaika Rios noh? Tangina opening na agad?

Amara: Psh, so ayan inayos mo?

Aika: Yep. Free ba kayo ng 11 am?

Sander: Pasalamat ka mamaya pa duty ko.

Amara: Tsk, hindi na muna ako pupunta sa shop.

Aika: See you guys, mwuah.

May sasabihin pa sila ng ibaba ko na yung tawag. Alam kong sesermonan nila ako, mamaya na yun. Ichacharge ko na sana yung phone ko ng mag ring yung phone ko, unknown number. Hindi ko sana sasagutin ng maalala ko yung mga clients ko for shoots.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hello, is this Ms. Rios?" a man asked.

"Speaking, may I know who am I speaking to?" I asked.

"I'm from Bighit Entertainment, I'm Kim Sejin." Oh so it is one of my clients. I remember, my secretary has been reminding me about it for a week already. I tend to forgot things. "I would like to discuss about something about our contract are you free today? It won't take long" he said. Ano kayang meron?

"Sure, where would we meet?" I asked.

"Is it okay to you if we discuss it outside the company? You can choose where you want. Are you free at lunch?" He said.

"Lunch is fine with me. It's the opening of my restaurant in Itaewon would you like it there?" I said.

"Oh, right timing, I'm at Itaewon right now, sure. What's the name of your restaurant?"

"It's Cathan Restaurant, see you at lunch Mr. Sejin." I said.

"Thank you Ms. Rios, see you." He said.

Time to prepare the things I needed. I should prepare my answer and ears too from those two.
